122. Happy New Year
Storyteller:
Caillou and Rosie were having breakfast one morning, and Rosie wanted her tiger to have breakfast too.
Caillou:
Okay, Rosie.
Caillou:
Roar! Roar!
Daddy:
Oh well, since you're so good at feeding that tiger, why don't you give our big tiger his breakfast as well?
Caillou:
Our big tiger?
Mommy:
Gilbert!
Storyteller:
Caillou loved feeding Gilbert.
Caillou:
Gilbert?
Mommy:
I think he went outside.
Caillou:
Gilbert! Gilbert!
Storyteller:
But it wasn't Gilbert. It was Sarah's cat, Ollie.
Mommy:
Ollie, that's Gilbert's food! That's the second time you've done that this week.
Daddy:
Can you take Ollie home, please? And see if you can find Gilbert.
Caillou:
Okay. Gilbert?
Sarah:
Ollie? Gilbert came into our house and tried to take Ollie's food. We were bringing him home.
Caillou:
Ollie tried to take Gilbert's food.
Caillou:
Gilbert!
Sarah & LeeWen:
Ollie!
Sarah:
Caillou, this is my cousin LeeWen.
LeeWen:
Hello.
Caillou:
Hello.
Sarah:
LeeWen's staying with us for chinese new year.
Storyteller:
Caillou had never heard of chinese new year before.
LeeWen:
It's the year of the tiger.
Caillou:
A tiger?
Sarah:
We call the new year the year of the tiger, but there isn't really a tiger. There is a dragon, though.
Caillou:
A real dragon?
LeeWen:
Yes, we're going to see it tomorrow.
Sarah:
Would you like to come with us to see the dragon?
Storyteller:
At first, Caillou wasn't sure if he wanted to see a real dragon.
Caillou:
Yes!
Storyteller:
Caillou was excited that he was going to see a real dragon with Sarah and LeeWen.
Caillou:
What is it?
Sarah's Mommy:
It's to wish you lots of happiness in the new year.
Sarah:
And that one is to wish you a long, long life. Do you want to help me put it up? Mom, Caillou said he wanted to see the dragon tomorrow.
Sarah's Mommy:
Is that right? Would you like to come with us to Chinatown, Caillou?
Caillou:
What's that?
LeeWen:
It's where the dragon lives.
Sarah's Mommy:
I'll give your Mommy a call and ask her if it's okay, then. Did you clean your room, Sarah?
Sarah:
Yes, Mommy. We have to clean the whole house from top to bottom for the new year.
Caillou:
Why?
Sarah:
I don't know, we just do.
LeeWen:
Did you get a special new year coin today?
Storyteller:
LeeWen felt sorry for Caillou because he didn't get a special new year coin, and asked Sarah if they could give him one.
Sarah:
Sure.
Storyteller:
Caillou had never seen a special new year coin before.
Sarah & LeeWen:
Happy new year! Xin Nian Hao!
Sarah:
Oh, no! It looks like the year of two tigers.
Mommy:
Are you excited about going to Chinatown with your friends, Caillou?
Caillou:
Yes, Mommy.
Storyteller:
Caillou was excited about going with his friends, but he was also a bit nervous about seeing a dragon. He wasn't so sure if he wanted to go anymore.
Mommy:
You must be a bit scared about seeing a dragon, so I thought you would like the story about the big friendly dragon.
Storyteller:
That was one of Caillou's favorite stories.
Mommy:
Once upon a time there was a big friendly dragon who lived in a forest. All of his friend would gather around...
Storyteller:
The next day, Caillou went to Chinatown with his friends for a special new year meal.
Sarah's Daddy:
Would you pass me the jiaozi, please? Um, could you pass them again, please?
Sarah's Mommy:
How would you two like some more tang yuan?
Caillou & LeeWen:
Yes.
Sarah's Mommy:
Here it comes. Go ahead, honey. Here are your jiaozi.
Sarah:
Huh, that was pretty clever, mom.
Sarah's Mommy:
I thought so, too.
Sarah:
You can use your fingers.
Caillou:
Wat's that?
Sarah:
That means the dragon's coming.
LeeWen:
The dragon's coming! the dragon's coming!
Caillou:
Wow!
Storyteller:
Caillou loved seeing the new year dragon and he wasn't scared at all because it was a friendly dragon.
All:
Happy new year! Xin Nian Hao!
Caillou:
Happy new year!

谢谢77的新年红包和这首好听的歌。请问37合集有人认领吗？

特意到网上查了下，这首歌叫《gotta have you》。以前就听过，特别喜欢这个旋律，可是听不懂，叫我女儿来听，也说是一句听不懂。当时还很奇怪，为什么她也一句听不懂。现在终于明白，听的可能是西班牙语版的。谢谢77送出这首歌，终于解了我心中的疑惑。
