合集40集之177

177. Caillou Computes
Caillou:
Daddy's home!
Storyteller:
Caillou had no idea what Daddy was bringing home in the big box. He wondered if maybe there was something special inside the box for him.
Caillou:
What is it, Daddy?
Daddy:
It's a surprise. Hey, don't I get a hello hug?
Caillou:
Is it a toy?
Daddy:
Not really.
Caillou:
Maybe it's a giant dinosaur egg!
Caillou:
No, it's not, Daddy!
Mommy:
Daddy's being silly. Let's put it in the playroom and go see what's in the box.
Storyteller:
Caillou was very curious to see what was in the big box.
Caillou:
What is it?
Mommy:
It's a computer!
Rosie:
Pooter?
Storyteller:
Caillou was disappointed. He hoped that Daddy had brought a surprise just for him.
Daddy:
I'll show you how it works, Caillou, once I get it hooked up. I bought a drawing program just for you.
Rosie:
Gilbert!
Mommy:
It's a cat-in-the-box! Caillou, look! There was a dinosaur in the box after all.
Daddy:
See! You can draw on the computer and then print out your drawing.
Caillou:
Do I need my crayons?
Mommy:
No, look, you draw by moving this. It's called a mouse.
Caillou:
A mouse? Look, Gilbert! Squeak, squeak, squeak!
Storyteller:
Caillou liked drawing on the computer, but it was tricky at first using a mouse to draw.
Caillou:
Gilbert wants the mouse. Squeak, squeak!
Mommy:
Why don't I print this up for you and you can color in the rest, okay? We can play again, a little later.
Storyteller:
Caillou was disappointed. He wanted to keep playing with the computer but he also thought that crayons were a lot easier to draw with.
Mommy:
No, Gilbert! Get down.
Daddy:
Honey, where are Rosie's diapers?
Storyteller:
Caillou wanted to print up another dinosaur so that he could color it in again.
He had seen Mommy press a button, and he thought he would try.
Caillou:
Uh-oh!
Mommy:
Caillou, what happened?
Caillou:
I wanted another dinosaur drawing. I broke the computer, Mommy.
Mommy:
You didn't break it, sweetie. Look. But from now on, you have to wait for Mommy or Daddy before you can use the computer, okay?
Storyteller:
Caillou was relieved that he hadn't broken the computer. And he soon discovered that playing in the computer box was actually just as fun as playing with the computer.
Caillou:
We're gonna hit cat mountain.
Daddy:
That wasn't a very smooth landing, was it? Come on you two, dinner's ready.
Caillou:
Good night, Mommy. Can I play on the computer tomorrow with you?
Mommy:
Of course you can, Caillou.
Caillou:
Gilbert's afraid of the mouse, Mommy.
Mommy:
That's cause he's a scaredy cat.

合集40集之178

178.Caillou's Big Discovery
Caillou:
I'm a big dinosaur.
Leo:
I'm a big dinosaur, too.
Storyteller:
Caillou and Leo were playing in the backyard. They were pretending they were dinosaurs.
Caillou:
I'm as big as a mountain.
Leo:
Me, too.
Caillou:
Leo, look! A dinosaur jungle. Roar!
Mommy:
Caillou, stay away from my flowers please!
Storyteller:
Caillou knew that he wasn't supposed to walk through the garden, but when he played with Leo, he sometimes got carried away.
Caillou:
Let's find a dinosaur mountain to climb. We can pile up rocks.
Leo:
Yeah. And then we can climb it. Roar!
Caillou:
Here's a rock.
Leo:
Dinosaurs need a whole bunch of rocks.
Caillou:
We can pile them up in the sandbox.
Storyteller:
Caillou and Leo were disappointed. They wanted a bigger pile of rocks to climb.
We need bigger rocks.
Leo:
That's a really big rock.
Caillou:
Help me, Leo.
Daddy:
Boys, you're too close to my tomato plants. You might damage them.
Caillou:
Daddy, help, we need this for our dinosaur mountain.
Daddy:
A dinosaur mountain, huh? That's a pretty big rock, Caillou.
Caillou:
It's stuck.
Daddy:
Well, since it's sticking out, and someone can trip over it, we may as well move it. Okay, Leo, you grab there and Caillou, you push here, and I'll pull. Ready?
Caillou:
It's out!
Leo:
Yeah, we did it!
Daddy:
Hey, it looks like we've just dug up something special.
Caillou:
A special rock?
Daddy:
Yup. Look, that's a fish fossil.
Caillou:
What's a fossil?
Daddy:
Well, a long, long time ago, a fish got stuck in mud, and after a long time, the mud turned into rock.
Caillou:
How did the fish get stuck in the mud?
Daddy:
Maybe a bunch of mud fell on it.
Leo:
This was a real fish?
Daddy:
Good work, boys. Finding a fossil is very rare.
Leo:
Can I bring this home with me?
Caillou:
No. It's my rock.
Leo:
But I found it.
Caillou:
No. I found it.
Storyteller:
Caillou and Leo were arguing because they both wanted the special rock. But there was only one way they could both have it.
Daddy:
You boys are going to have to take turns playing with the rock, okay?
Caillou:
Okay. Let's bring it to the sandbox. We've got lots of rocks now.
Leo:
I'm gonna climb the dinosaur mountain.
Caillou:
I'm going to climb first.
Caillou:
What was that?
Leo:
It's a big dinosaur coming to climb our mountain.
Caillou:
It's raining.
Leo:
We can play in the rain. I bet dinosaurs like rain.
Caillou:
Let's bring the rocks inside. There! now, we can play dinosaurs.
Leo:
But we don't have our special rock.
Caillou:
It's too big to carry.
Mommy:
Boys! What are you doing bringing rocks inside? You've made a mess.
Storyteller:
Caillou and Leo realize they had done something wrong. But all they wanted to do was to continue playing dinosaurs.
Caillou:
But it's raining and we can't play outside.
Mommy:
Well, you can't bring the rocks inside the house.
Daddy:
Did Caillou and Leo tell you about the special rock they found?
Mommy:
No, but it looks like they found a few special rocks and they brought them all inside.
Caillou:
We found a fossil rock! But it's too big to carry.
Daddy:
I've got an idea. Why don't we leave the rocks outside so the rain will clean them off. And I can take you and Leo to the library to find some books on fossils, okay?
Storyteller:
Caillou and Leo were excited about going to the library. They had never gone to the library together before.
Caillou:
I'm going to find a book on fossils.
Leo:
I'm going to find a book about dinosaurs.
Daddy:
Why don't you both find a book on dinosaur fossils.
Caillou:
Dinosaur fossils?
Leo:
I'll find it first.
Storyteller:
Caillou and Leo looked and looked, but they couldn't find the book they were searching for.
Librarian:
Are you boys looking for any special kind of books?
Caillou:
Dinosaurs.
Leo:
Fossils.
Librarian:
We have lots of books about dinosaurs. Let me show you where they are.
Storyteller:
Caillou and Leo were very happy looking at books about dinosaurs.
Caillou:
This dinosaur is as big as a tree.
Leo:
This one looks scary.
Caillou:
Roar! Leo, look!
Leo:
Wow! A dinosaur fossil!
Librarian:
Pretty neat, huh? It's a model of a dinosaur fossil.
Leo:
We found a fossil today.
Caillou:
It's a fish that got stuck in the mud.
Librarian:
Really? Would you boys like to bring it in some time? You could put it on display right here next to this model of the dinosaur fossil.
Caillou & Leo:
Yeah!
Daddy:
That's a great idea! Should we bring it in tomorrow?
Caillou & Leo:
Yeah!
Storyteller:
Caillou and Leo were very pleased that their fish fossil was going to be in the library, so that lots of other children could see it, too.
Caillou:
Everyone's going to see our special rock.
Leo:
We have to make it all shiny and clean.
Caillou:
There! Maybe we can find another fossil.
Leo:
A dinosaur fossil!

合集40集之180

180. Get Well, Mr. Hinkle
Storyteller:
Caillou loved playing in the living room in the morning because right about this time...
Caillou:
Oh, it's the mailman! Good morning!
Mailman:
Well, good morning to you, too, Caillou. See you tomorrow.
Caillou:
Bye, Mister Mailman. Mommy, look what the mailman brought. Is there anything for me?
Mommy:
Not today. Oh, but Mr. Hinkle's hardware catalogue got mixed up with our mail by mistake. Want to take it over to him?
Caillou:
You mean like a mailman? Can I dress like one, too?
Mommy:
Yes, of course.
Mr. Hinkle:
Well, hello, Mr. Mailman. You look just like my young friend who lives next door.
Caillou:
It's me, Mr. Hinkle, Caillou. I'm delivering this catalogue just like the mailman.
Mr. Hinkle:
Thank you! Oh look, I got the same hardware catalogue twice. Would you like one?
I know how much you like to cut out the pictures.
Caillou:
Thank you, Mr. Hinkle. Mommy, look! Mommy, Mr. Hinkle was still wearing his pyjamas. Do grown-ups take naps in the day, too?
Mommy:
He could be sick, honey. Remember when Daddy had the flu and we made him a card and some chicken soup?
Caillou:
Mommy, could we make chicken soup and a card for Mr. Hinkle?
Mommy:
Sure. I bet it'll make him feel a lot better.
Caillou:
Look, Mommy, I'm all done!
Mommy:
It's beautiful, Caillou.
Caillou:
Mommy, can I get some flowers for Mr. Hinkle?
Mommy:
Great idea. You could make a nice vase with this.
Caillou:
Gilbert! Look, Mommy!
Mommy:
It's beautiful, Caillou. All we need now are some flowers from our garden.
Caillou:
And a red one, Mommy. Get a red one.
Mommy:
Mr. Hinkle is going to be so happy when he gets your card and flowers.
Caillou:
Yeah! Mr. Hinkle, look what I made for you.
Mr. Hinkle:
All this, just for me?
Caillou:
Read the card!
Mr. Hinkle:
There's a beautiful blue bird, and underneath it says "Mr. Hinkle". That's me. Thank you. This is the best get-well card I've ever seen. I'm feeling better already, Caillou. And you know, it's perfect you put that blue bird on the card.
Caillou:
Why?
Mr. Hinkle:
I just finished putting this birdhouse together. Want to come back tomorrow, when I'm all better and help me paint it?
Caillou:
Okay, Mr. Hinkle. Goodbye! I can't wait to help Mr. Hinkle paint his birdhouse.
Mommy:
What? You don't want to be a mailman anymore?

合集40集之181

181. The Big Boat
Storyteller:
Caillou was very excited, because today they were going on a sailboat.
Caillou:
Look, Daddy, I have a boat, too. Vrrrr!
Rosie:
Vrrrr!
Daddy:
May I borrow your boat? I wanna show you something. See? The reason we call it a sailboat is because it has sails.
Mommy:
When the wind blows in the sails, it pushes the boat on the water.
Caillou:
Me too.
Mommy:
It's time to go to the marina now. That's where they keep the boats.
Caillou:
Yeah!
Daddy:
Okay. You'll need to wear your sneakers. They're the best shoes to wear on a boat. Ready to feel the wind blowing in the sails?
Caillou:
That tickles. Can I bring it, Daddy?
Daddy:
You sure can!
Storyteller:
When Caillou got to the marina, there were lots of boats. But none of them seemed to have sails.
Rosie:
Birdie!
Caillou:
Where's the sailboat?
Mommy:
Hmmm. I'll give you a clue. Our friend Helen's sailboat is brown and white.
Caillou:
I can find it.
Daddy:
Come up here, sailor. You'll have a better view.
Rosie:
Rosie too!
Daddy:
Do you see it?
Caillou:
There!
Helen:
Welcome aboard, everyone. I'm glad you could come.
Storyteller:
The boat rocked a little and Caillou felt a little unsteady.
Caillou:
Mommy, the floor is moving.
Mommy:
It's okay, Caillou. It takes a little time to get used to it.
Helen:
Safety first! I have something special for you. We need to wear these lifejackets while we're on the boat.
Caillou:
I have sneakers, too.
Helen:
Look at that! You're on your way to becoming a true sailor.
Rosie:
Bird!
Daddy:
You know, Helen has a whole house, just like ours, right here, inside her sailboat.
Caillou:
Where is it?
Helen:
I'll show you.
Rosie:
Birdie!
Mommy:
We'll stay out a bit. Rosie likes the seagulls.
Caillou:
Wow! How did you do that?
Helen:
Oh, there are lots of surprises like this on my boat. I have a kitchen in here, too, do you think you can find it?
Daddy:
Hmmm, is this the kitchen?
Caillou:
No, Daddy. This is a bathroom.
Daddy:
There you go, Caillou.
Caillou:
It's a bed. I can't find the kitchen.
Daddy:
I spy what looks like an oven door.
Caillou:
Over here!
Daddy:
Uh-huh!
Helen:
This is my galley. That's what we call a kitchen on a boat.
Helen:
Would you like some grapes?
Caillou:
Yes, please!
Helen:
Maybe the others would like some, too!
Rosie:
Caillou!
Caillou:
Hmmm.
Storyteller:
Caillou saw something way up on the mast that looked familiar.
Caillou:
Hmmm. Hmmm. Look Daddy, Helen has a pinwheel, too, just like mine.
Helen:
And just like yours, mine tells me when the wind is blowing. Looks like it's time to go sailing!
Caillou:
Yeah!
Rosie:
Yeah!
Mommy:
When we're out of the marina, we can shut the motor off, and the sails will do the work.
Daddy:
Almost done. And there. Phew!
Helen:
Let's find the wind, shall we? Here we go!
Storyteller:
Caillou was excited. Helen had turned the boat, so the wind was moving them fast now.
Mommy:
It's all right, Rosie.
Caillou:
Here, Rosie, you can have this.
Rosie:
Whoo!
Caillou:
Wow!
Caillou & Rosie:
Hi!
Caillou:
They don't have a wheel.
Helen:
But they have a tiller. See the stick the man is holding in the back? It steers just like my wheel. Caillou, would you like to help me steer?
Caillou:
Yes!
Helen:
You're doing a fine job, Caillou. I think you can be captain for a while.
Storyteller:
Caillou was very proud to help steer the sailboat. He was having a lot of fun, but the visit was coming to an end.
Daddy:
Thanks, Helen, we had a wonderful time.
Helen:
It was fun sailing with you. Come back soon. Here, Caillou, don't forget this.
Caillou:
Thank you!
Rosie:
Bye bye!
Caillou:
Bye!
Storyteller:
Caillou couldn't stop thinking about the wind blowing the sails. And that evening, he decided to go sailing again.
Daddy:
Almost done. Here you go, Rosie.
Caillou:
See, Rosie, you have to be the wind.
Caillou:
You did it!
