38. Caillou’s School Bus

39. Caillou Sleeps Over

I’m so glad you could stay at night. And Look, that was caillou doesn’t sleep story. It’s called Caillou Sleeps Over. It’s all started when caillu’s friend Leo invited him sleeps over his house. Caillou and his mommy were packing his bags
M: caillou, now have you forgot anything?
C: my pajamas.
M: that’s right. If you sleeps over at Leo’s house you need pajamas. Now is that everything?
C: yes.
This was the first time caillou had ever slept over his friend house and he was every excited.
M: get in, caillou. I sure we forgot to pack something. But what could it be? Let’s think. Pajamas, tooth brush, teddy bear,
C: teddy, we forgot teddy.
M: good, now you have everything. Are you ready?
Leo’s daddy has built a tree house in his garden. And caillou loved playing in it.
Leo’s mommy: caillou, caillou. It’s supper time. Come on you two! Time to wash your hands
Caillou sure was having fun at Leo’s house, But when supper came. Caillou started to feel lonely. He was thinking about his mommy and daddy and his home.
Leo’s mommy: aren’t you hungry, caillou.
C: yes,
Leo’s mommy: let’s see who finished this first. And we give the wins the desert
Pretty soon it was bed time for caillou and leo. Caillou discovered that even brush his teeth was fun at leo’s house. But when was the time to go to sleep. Caillou missed his mommy and daddy. and his home a lot. He was beginning to feel very sad.
Leo’s mommy: are you two ready to go to sleep? Get into bed caillou. Good night honey. Oh, dear, what’s the matter caillou?
C: I wanna go home.
Leo’s mommy: I’ll tell you what, why don’t we go and call your mommy on the phone.
C: I wanna come home mommy.
M: this teddy wanna come home too.
C: teddy?
M: poor teddy, he must feel very lonely stuck inside your bag, and it was really looking forward to sleeping over at Leo’s house
When caillou thought about teddy, He didn’t wanna come home anymore. He fetched the teddy and gave him a big kiss.
Leo’s mommy: Does teddy feel better now?
C: yes, because I’m hugging him tight.
Leo’s mommy: good! night, night, Sleep tight.
L&C: don’t let the big bug bite.

38. Caillou’s School Bus

I think we have time for a story before your bus comes. Now, why don’t we see what caillou’s up today?
What is the story called caillou’s school bus. Caillou didn’t go to school yet. But everyday he waited to see the school bus coming down his street. Caillou really wanted to ride on the school bus with the big children.
C: daddy, why didn’t I go on this school bus?
D: well, you are going to school until after your next birthday. Let’s see. This is today. And this is your birthday.
C: but, I want to go on this school bus now.
D: well, I think we would at least go and see this school bus even if you can’t ride on it.
But very next morning, caillou and his daddy got up extra early. So they could see the school bus come up close.
C: here it comes daddy. Here it comes. Oh, boy!
S: hi, caillou, are you coming on bus with us?
D: caillou doesn’t go to school yet, Sara.
Bdriver: well, good morning, Young man. Are you coming to school, too? Wait a minute, I remember you. I used to take you to school when you were little boy.
D: hello, Mr. Washington how nice to see you again. This is my son caillou. He wants to see your bus.
Bdriver: well, caillou. I’m very pleased to meet you. And I’m looking forward to driving you to school when the time comes.
C: I wanna go on the bus daddy.
Bdriver: well, I can’t take you toady, caillou.
Mr. Washington could see the caillou was very disappointed.
Bdriver: may~~maybe, I could tomorrow as long as it’s alright with your mommy and your daddy. And I have to ask my boss its okay, too. So I can’t promise I’ll take you
D: isn’t that nice, Mr. Washington, caillou? Let’s go and ask mum.
C: wow!
D: what’ this caillou?
C: that’s the school bus, daddy.
D: and who is this driving the school bus?
C: me,
M: caillou, remember we have to wait until tomorrow morning to find out if you are allowed to ride on the bus.
S: hi, caillou, it looks like you are going to the school today?
Caillou was very nervous he didn’t know if he’ll be allowed to ride on the bus.
Bdriver: good morning. Well, we don’t wanna be late for school caillou. Come on!
D: what are you waiting for? Come on!
C: oh, boy!
Caill loved riding in the big yellow school bus.
Bdriver: we are almost home caillou. There is your daddy waiting for you.
C: did you see me daddy? I’m in the bus.
D: I saw you. Now, let’s say thank you Mr. Washington.
C&D: thank you Mr. Washington.
Bdriver: goodbye caillou. Goodbye! See you after your next birthday.
