Thank you for your observations. The facts are, I am fine, but I couldn't hear the students very clearly even after logging off and logging on again so I read many things to them that I thought they might have difficulty with. I particularly want the students to understand the venn diagram and be able to use it. I had the impression the students could hear me better than I could hear them. I was hoping the homework would help the students understand the subject matter. I'll be sure to go over it all next time. In future, please break in and tell me if I'm not speaking loudly enough or talking too fast. I really value your input. Thanks, Dave

This Wednesday I plan to check the chapter3, Lesson 2 homework, then go on to Ch3, Lesson 3 and possibly read "Readings in Science' Rocks and soil around us. I'll pull some homework from the text as we go.
