Dude, I don't understand why you are so easy to get pissed off. My point here is that probably you won't get what you expect in a few years. and there is a lot more important things to do than learning English in a kid's colorful life, like music and sports. For a boy, sports do not just mean playing at a club or go outside for a while. It means a lot to his whole life.
I started learning English at 12 and I got a full scholarship from a top university in USA after I graduated from the college. Well, I am not showing off here about my English because I am still learning it every day but I just would you like to know that you can still be good to use English without a horrible childhood by learning those boring stuff so early. And as to the bilingual kids, I have two, one boy and one girl. If you spent 10 minutes with them, you will get what I just said. they are not what you image or you are talking about at this forum. My girl is conversational in Spanish too but I would say she is just able to use that language and she cannot think in Spanish.
Jonny is your son and you can do absolutely what you want to him. I just feel sorry for him. Period. |
