My Dream
Hello, everyone! Today, I’m very happy to make a speech here.
My topic is “My Dream”.
Today I’m glad to share my dream with you.
Now, let me introduce myself. I’m a handsome boy, do you think so? My name is Liu Yifan. My English name is Alex.
I love sports, especially playing basketball and swimming.
My favorite thing is to spend a peaceful afternoon by the river, reading a novel, because I love reading very much.
Every one has a dream. A dream is to a man what wings are to a bird. When I was a little kid, my dream was to run a toy shop of my own. But now, when I’m 11 years old, standing here, my dream has already changed a lot.
I like reading story books, magazines, newspapers and all interesting materials. This hobby got started when I was a little kid. My mother used to read a lot of stories to me. Soon I could read simple storybooks by myself. （这里是老师修改过的部分）
When I became a primary school student, there were many fairy tales, fantasy novels, detective stories on my bookshelf.
I often got angry because of despicable person in the fairy stories, and I often shed tears for poor people.
In the dream, I often entered into the fantasy story, driving the spacecraft to the space, through time and space to the ancient, put on armor to dominate the world of animals.
In the story, I’m a warrior and I can do everything. （这里可能因为是发自孩子内心的感受吧，我挺喜欢这部分的）
You know my dream now? Yes, you’re right. My dream is to be a children's fiction writer when I grow up. I want to write a lot of interesting stories for children.
I know it is hard to realize a dream. So I will make a great effort to make my dream come true.
