开贴陪儿子读英语2000年3月，9岁

盘点儿子寒假看的英语电视剧，ben10 四季。还有ben10 alien force2季。梅林2季。汉娜蒙塔纳一季，现在在看英语版的宠物小精灵。儿子看的动画都是他超级爱看的，梅林和汉娜蒙塔纳有字幕，其余的都没有字幕。宠物小精灵的种子有200多集，够儿子看一段时间了。

现在复习新概念到了第60几课。明显是难度降低了，一天4课轻松了很多。但是寒假作业还没有做，该做作业了。 周五返校。

儿子背诵新概念二，从第96课往前背，现在到57课。这是第二遍了，下午，儿子背的无精打采，问问他：“好好背，发到论坛里怎么样啊？”小家伙一兴奋，答应了。用帝尔录的音，有少许错误的地方，请大家指教啊！

A woman in jeans stood at the window of an expensive shop. Though she hesitated for a moment, she finally went in and asked to see a dress that was in the window. The assistant who served her did not like the way she was dressed. Glancing at her scornfully, he told her that the dress was sold. The woman walked out of the shop angrily and decided to punish the assistant next day. She returned to the shop the following morning dressed in a fur coat, with a handbag in one hand and a long umbrella in the other. After seeking out the rude assistant, she asked for the same dress. Not realizing who she was, the assistant was eager to serve her this time. With great difficulty, he climbed into the shop window to get the dress. As soon as she saw it, the woman said she did not like it. 看来我们两家的孩子正好互补，我们听的比读的多。以后多来取经。看到您的宝贝背诵能力这么强，是怎么训练的呢？我们只能复述不能背诵。不知您用的什么方法？

儿子背诵能力超过复述能力。如果他读过的中文书你让他复述讲故事，他大部分是背诵的。前几天测试过体验一来考察听力，他听2遍~3遍就背诵下来了，一晚上背诵了8个。 现在新概念二从96课往后背诵，一课背诵5遍，一天4课。因为刚背过来一遍的，所以进展很快。到48课了，基本上寒假中背诵的内容又复习回来了。上次的音频就是回来复习的时候录的音。寒假主要是强化背诵新概念二了。新开学以后，就适当的放慢脚步。增加阅读和听力。打算进行mth了。当然新概念不能放下。我们要一直反复看。下一步，要吧重点放到语法和单词，词组上面。一边背诵一边进行。新概念就用来精读了，其他的就做泛读和听力材料来辅助进行。因为新概念是背诵过的，所以在课文中强化单词和语法，都不是很难的事情。之所以这么做，是因为儿子四年级了，我们这里小学五年制，很快要上中学了，必须为以后的应试做好准备。

本来打算第二遍背诵就开始记单词和学习点语法的，但是因为是寒假，而且新二后面强化的太快，就又快速的回来背诵了一遍。新二复习完了以后，新一复习的时候，打算加上单词和语法。即使再加上单词和语法，孩子在做题应用的时候也有一段路要走，但是妈妈不着急，这方面的训练在五年级和中学都可以进行。

论语的书买回来了，但是妈妈不满意。元元妈妈楼里介绍的当当的书，很合我的心意，就在当当上下单，这几天该到了。论语的音频也整理好了，等书到了一起学习。

其实并不是说背诵有多少效果，儿子的背诵能力比书写能力要好的多，而且背诵是他的长处，我只是充分利用了他的长处而已。他本人一点都不觉得累。而且因为进展顺利，他甚至都很自豪。今天自己背诵录音了几课，让我回头给他发上来 。看来这个比较有动力。 晚上要睡觉了，他想磨蹭一会，又主动要求再背一课，一会也过了5遍。还想背，被哄走了，给他的新的MP4里拷了中文的故事，他高高兴兴的去听了。

上传的音频让儿子很兴奋，自己又找了以前背过的课文，温习一下，再背诵一个，让妈妈发上来。这是第95课。

Lesson 95
               A fantasy
               纯属虚构

   
    When the Ambassador or Escalopia returned home for lunch, his wife got a shock. He looked pale and his clothes were in a frightful state.
      'What has happened?' she asked. 'How did your clothes get into such a mess?'
      'A fire extinguisher, my dear,' answered the Ambassador drily. 'University students set the Embassy on fire this morning.'
      'Good heavens!' exclaimed his wife. 'And where were you at the time?'
      'I was in my office as usual,' answered the Ambassador. 'The fire broke out in the basement. I went down immediately, of course, and that fool, Horst, aimed a fire extinguisher at me. He thought I was on fire. I must definitely get that fellow posted.'
      The Ambassador's wife went on asking questions, when she suddenly noticed a big hole in her husband's hat.
      'And how can you explain that?' she asked.
      'Oh, that,' said the Ambassador. 'Someone fired a shot through my office window. Accurate, don't you think? Fortunately, I wasn't wearing it at the time. If I had been, I would not have been able to get home for lunch.'

今天新背诵的，也录一个，发上来。

今天背诵到48课。文本：

Lesson 48
   Did you want to tell me something?
           你想对我说什么吗？
        Dentists always ask questions when it is impossible for you to answer. My dentist had just pulled out one of my teeth and had told me to rest for a while. I tried to say something, but my mouth was full of cotton wool. He knew I collected match boxes and asked me whether my collection was growing. He then asked me how my brother was and whether I liked my new job in London. In answer to these questions I either nodded or made strange noises. Meanwhile, my tongue was busy searching out the hole where the tooth had been. I suddenly felt very worried, but could not say anything. When the dentist at last removed the cotton wool from my mouth, I was able to tell him that he had pulled out the wrong tooth.

看到自己背诵的音频被论坛的叔叔阿姨表扬，儿子又有可干劲。毕竟背诵太枯燥了。在枯燥的学习中给儿子增加了动力，小家伙又有了干劲了！

昨天开学第一天，下午3点半放学，回到家已经5点45， 放学又在外面玩了。一个寒假不见面，儿子和同学更亲近了，玩的不亦乐乎。

这样在家的时间就很短了。本来当当上买的论语到了，打算给背诵看看，安排一下计划的，不能进行了。新概念背诵完2课，写完学校的作业，就9点了，然后妈妈不死心，给听toad and frog。第二个故事和第三个故事。第二个故事听的很好，全部听懂了。第三个故事有几个单词不会。meadow  这个单词 其实在神奇数屋中读过的，可能当时水平太低，没有记住。aparrow，这个单词新概念里没有学过。square，儿子不会，妈妈倒是会，闺女看的动画片里有的。儿子嫌小儿科，不看。总体说来。这两个故事裸听，儿子能听懂85%以上。

第二个故事（story）里的poured a glass of water的pour的意思是儿子猜的。结合上下文，这样听故事也很有意思。

打算让儿子也自己读读这个文本，这样可能对听力会有更好的提高。本来想进行mth的。是不是先听完frog and toad再说啊？可能体验英语全部听完也是各不错的选择。可以扩大词汇量，多认识一些日常常用单词。个人觉得，一套教材由浅入深的学习下来，肯定有帮助的。特别是对于象我这样的水平的妈妈来说，可能是唯一的办法。

给儿子开楼，除了能帮助妈妈和儿子坚持下去，还有一个原因，就是可以帮助妈妈整理自己的学习计划和思路。一套教材学习完了以后，下一个怎么进行，妈妈往往要借鉴许多论坛里的高楼的意见。说到最后，还要感谢论坛。
