这两天小子给我朗读了Ｔｏｍｍｙ　ｔａｌｅｓ第２８、２９本故事。
可能是最近朗读的多了，我感觉他的语音、语调有进步了。

他朗读间歇的时候，我想读几段，他还不让，一定要亲力亲为 。

视频看《姆敏一族》、《哈里波特和混血王子》。

音频听神奇树屋第４０个故事，开始重听《哈里波特》第７部。

呵呵，谢谢，只是一些自己的感触，我也是个妈妈，虽然自己的英文还不错，但怎么辅导儿子还是让我很发愁。

其实，你儿子的基础已经不错了，只是思维方式还是中国人的方式。比如那句“He likes going to school very much". 很明显是从“我喜欢去上学”翻译过来的。英文表达简单的说“He likes school very much". 意思就到了。

比如外国小孩很喜欢说，“Wow, It's cool." 我估计课本上肯定不会教cool这个单词，口语中就是“酷”，呵呵。

其实，你儿子的基础已经很不错了，我觉得可以多看点原版的电影，了解在各种场景下外国小朋友是怎么表达自己的，还有看原版书当然也很好。但我一直觉得movie，它给人的刺激是全方位，特别是一些很好的电影，比如那部《极地特块》，外国小朋友都很喜欢看的，讲的应该就是你儿子这么大的小男孩的故事吧。

其实，就是积累外国人的表达方法而以，我自己基本也是工作以后，因为要用的比较多，加上看过很多很多原版片，所以比自己在学校的时候，英文不知道提高了多少。但明显也是经济和finance方面比较熟悉，看CNBC，bloomberg可以懂个80-90%，但看CNN这种政治的频道，还达不到这个水平，还在继续努力中。自己感觉，英文是个长期积累的过程。看美剧《Boston legal》，这个是获奖的电视剧，70-80%都不懂，因为大量律师使用的常用语，但我一个律师朋友就喜欢看的要命。

小朋友已经很有基础了，多接触native的原版片，培养语感，其实就是积累外国人对同样一件事情，一种情绪，他们是如何表达的。还有，中国人读的英文，很多缺乏节奏和语调，但其实看电影，就知道英文其实读起来，快慢音调，非常好听，有的字要重点读，有的可以一带而过。

相信你儿子的基础，应该会提高很快的，呵呵。

这几天小子给我朗读了 Tommy  tales 第30、31、32本故事。
他还朗读了：nce2:1-13课。
跟读：nce2:14-17课；
         nce3:4  the  double  life  of  Alfred  Bloggs.

学美国加州教材treasures2--unit1的第五个主题。
回答p143页think and compare 里的问题(黑色字体是他回答的内容)：
1.At the beginning of the story, did you think Yoon  would like school?
   No,I didn't.
   How  does  she  feel   at  the  end  of  the  story?
   She  feels  happy.

2.Why  does  Yoon  write  BIRD on  her  paper ?
   Because  she  thinks  if  she  draws  a  picture  for  her  teacher,
   perhaps  her  teacher  will  like  her.

3.How  would  you  feel  if  you  had  to  go  to  a  new  school in a different  country?
   I  would  feel  excited  and  happy.
   Because  I know  everything  is  different,and  I can  make  many  new  friends  too.

4.Why do you think  Yoon's mother  tells her she must be patient about  her new life in America?
   Because  her  mother  wants  her to be  happy  in America.

5.Read  "my new home" on pages 114-115.How  is Miguel like Yoon?
  Miguel  and  Yoon  both  came  from  different  countries.
  They  are  both  refugees.
  How  is  he  different?
  He  liked to  go  to America,  and  Yoon  didn't  like  it at first.
  
回答P147页问题：
1.Which  country  on  the graph  shows the most immigrants  for  one year?
   Mexico.

2.Find  the country that Yoon came  from on the graph.Write  about how the number
   of  immigrants compares with the other countries on the graph.
   If  compares  with  Mexico, the numbers  of  immigrants  from Korea  will seem  very  puny.
   I  think Mexico  is  richer  than  all  the other  countries on  this  bar  graph.
   That is why the immigrants  from  Mexico are  the  biggest  number  on  this  graph.
