你的问题有点难度，各个国家的消费习惯不一样，你查一下yahoo的黄页yellow page可以获得很多这方面的信息。我去的美国城市一般有这些东西：Shopping Mall（遇上过节打折的时候去）, Library（特别特别好的地方，什么书都有）,Restaurants（一般只去中餐馆）, Post Office, Bakery, Pharmacy, Laundry, Convenience Store, McDonald's（常去）, Liquid Store（没进去过）, Grocery Store, Churches（去过一次）, bar（去过一次），Parks（就像是荒地，也没有像样的门）1. 小区里有各种各样的商店,请问如何说:---发廊: hair salon? barber shop 理发店，hair salon---做SPA等美容护理的商店: beauty salon? 对---电器修理店? electronics repair shop?---卖包子,馒头,豆浆等早餐的商店,无坐位? ---面包店? bakery---卖观赏鱼的商店: fish store?---琴行(学音乐的地方)? ---早教机构?---休闲小店,租书,租碟,卖零食,卖/租玩具等 7-eleven之类的Convenience Store，好像都直接叫名字2. 送CD player去电器修理店修理? 东西一般不修，修的比买的贵，反正用得上人工的地方都很贵，如果要修就用fix这个词，不是说repair已经被中国人用烂了。I'm going to have it fixed in repair shop.3.菜市: market? 国外一般这几个地方有卖菜和水果的grocery store /market /supermarket此帖由 lotusleaf 在 2006-09-01 14:30 进行编辑...

好像没有漏下的硬翻译的话 it brightens up. 好像一般用于下雨之后天亮了，直接说七点了，该起床了就好.最简单的办法是把美国妈妈的日常用语背下来用。
