能否举例说明?有时通过例子更能清楚的说明问题啊!我有时会从语言学的角度来划一些segment,可是这样的方法越分析可能越乱,而且好多东西是没有定论的。我又想到and有时也可表示一种因果关系,所以smilefo的说法也很有道理。我们自己费点时间精力把问题搞清楚,宝宝们才更能受益呀。

我又查了and的用法:表示:then; following this 例:She came in and sat down. I pulled the trigger and the gun went off.表示:as a result of this 例:Arrive late once more and you're fired.注意and前后的时态。

真是有这么巧的事情,我昨天刚刚把wood floats。Try and float on your back.记下来,今天居然发现小楼帖出来了。可见用的是同样的字典。那两个句子,我觉得第一个都可以,看口气和停顿。不知道对不对。Mom has to work and earn money.(不得不上班和挣钱) earns (不得不上班然后挣钱给你)第二个应该有ing的,就是我们平时说的 There are some students sitting under the shade.那格式。

同意田老师的说法,第一次看到Mommy has to work and earns money的时候有点粗心,只注意到has to,实际上and可以连接两个相同时态的动词或词组,至于float应该可以用于各种时态,主要取决于什么语言环境。

谢谢大家的讨论,八天没上网了。今天回来又学习了很多!为了弄明白一些问题,我特地找了一本英语用法想趁假期看看,无奈书太厚,假期的事也太多,只能零打零敲地看一点。不过我会坚持看下去,有了新收获再贴上来。希望我们能保持这种讨论!也在此给大家拜个晚年,祝各位新年身体健康,心想事成,各位小宝宝健康成长!
