relationship.

發現孩子行為有偏差時，父母的態度上不要一味地指責或強迫孩子馬上改正。不如先了解孩子為什麼如此做的原因，再給他正確的觀念。

When discovering your child has certain wrongful behaviors, do not
immediately accuse him or force him to correct himself. You may want to
understand the reasons behind his actions and teach him the appropriate
ways of dealing with specific situations.

Bath time can be a great opportunity for learning and playing games. You
can have your child play with bath toys as a way of practicing certain
movements such as grasping, patting, or splashing. The result is your
child working on his muscle development, and the activity also increases
the interaction between parent and child as well as allowing the parent
to easily bathe the child.

為孩子選擇玩具時，應以安全優先為考量；易碎或尖銳角應避免。其次可以選擇具教育或訓練性，例如益智積木可以訓練手部肌肉小動作的發展。

Safety should be the first priority when selecting toys for your child.
Avoid toys that are sharp or can be easily broken. Next, choose
educational or developmental toys such as blocks that focus on hand
coordination.

增進寶寶的語言發展，隨時利用機會例如，幫寶寶洗澡、穿衣；還可以透過這些活動中讓孩子體驗方向概念（上、下、左、右）。

To improve your baby's language development, take advantage of
opportunities such as bath time and getting dressed time. With these
activities, you can teach your child the concept of directions such as
up, down, left and right.

鼓勵孩子可以自己進食，而且無論他的吃相如何，避免批評或大聲喝止孩子進食方式。

Encourage your child to eat without your help. Prevent from criticizing
or shouting at him for the way he eats.

不要拿自己的孩子和別人比較，也不要常對孩子說"如果你有隔壁的小明棒，不知有多好！"；容易造成孩子心理的壓力，而且還會對自己失去自信心。

Avoid comparing your child with others such as asking why he isn't more
like a neighbor's child. By doing so, you may give your child pressure
and affect his self-confidence.

Encouraging your child's sense of humor not only improves the
relationship between you and your child, but also helps your child to
develop an optimistic attitude.

孩子有口吃現象時，父母應注意儘量少問問題，讓孩子表達自己的意思，針對孩子的話簡單評論，讓他知道你聽到他的話便可。

When your child stammers, avoid asking questions but rather let him
express things himself. Then simply give him feedback to let him know
that you heard and understood him.
