今天兴奋的背了Geoge's marverllous medicine 前16页。主要的对话基本都背出来。描述性的基本都没有记得。然后由自己朗读了16页。今天有爬了瑜伽的楼。看到qrsqrs在楼里提到让女儿朗读达尔系列。非常感谢Andy妈妈的建议，让我们寒假主攻达尔系列。真是很不错。最近晚上让他边打球边听一半Geoge's marverllous medicine。争取能培养出随意听英语的能力。
打算买一套达尔系列的书收藏，不知道那里有便宜的。上次看到元元高楼里说卓越上有一套，点进去看没有了。好像很不错，一套400多元。

听：Dahl的 the withes. 听了2小时，开始说挺好的，后来又说听不太懂，觉得太长乐，描述性的太多了，先放一放

今天主要学习social乐，没看书。今天在学social的时候说到西班牙哥伦布带着三艘船到达美国，那三艘船名，儿子很兴奋说在JBJ里听到过的。不过不记得在那本书里。看样子要精泛结合小朋友才更有感觉。

正好最近在学美国的历史里提到这段，儿子看了这里很开心。在学到civil war的时候，儿子说Mrs. Jafee is Daffy!里就是讲civil war德，然后给我讲了他们是怎么用水枪打战的。 人文就是要这样从大量阅读中体会吧。

Here are some ideas to consider including when crafting your book talks:
• Title and author
• Genre
• Subject of book or plot summary
• Best feature of the book
• Interesting words that describe the book
• Who should read the book
• Keep it short, under 3 minutes

Teachers can ask students to conduct the five-finger test when selecting a book. Students keep track on their fingers the number of words they have difficulty with on a page. If all five fingers are used before the student reaches the end of the page, the book may be too difficult, and the child should find another book.

Armbruster et al. (2001) explained, “Children who do not hear a lot of talk and who are not encouraged to talk themselves often have problems learning to read”
