至于CD则是委托国内代理古典音乐的福茂唱片所精选的版本，但是这片CD并不只是音乐而已，在CD前二十分钟是由专业广播主持人和配音员所录制的有声剧，将每个故事先完整的呈现一遍，这时如果配合阅读绘本，一定会让读者有图画活了起来的感觉。

CD的后半部则是收录了最具有代表性的几首曲子，在曲目开始之前，还会有一段曲目导聆，对该曲子的创作背景、出现的场景和曲子的特色做完整的介绍，这使得这一系列的CD不只适合小朋友聆听，也非常的适合希望能多了解古典音乐的大人欣赏。

至于我们对音乐版本的选择一样非常的精彩，比如莫扎特《魔笛》我们所选用的萧堤爵士指挥维也纳爱乐管弦乐团的版本，《波西米亚人》中的男主角鲁道夫则是三大男高音之一的帕华洛帝所演唱的，这些皆可以说是一时之选。

除了绘本和音乐之外，导读手册我们也是一样的用心，本手册分四大部份：图画欣赏，故事导读，音乐赏析和延伸活动，图画欣赏是针对绘本做简介，介绍每一位绘本画家的画风和画法故事导读和音乐赏析的，让家长在带小朋友看绘本时能陪养绘画欣赏的兴趣和基本知识。

故事导读、音乐赏析的部份是由台北爱乐电台主持人邢子青、北市师范学院音乐教育系主任陈惠龄等名家等所撰稿，为我们介绍故事的创作背景、代表含意和乐曲导聆。

延伸活动是我个人认为这部份是这套书最特别的部份，配合每个作品的故事和音乐，陈惠龄等教育专家为本套书设计了许多有趣的亲子活动，有些是配合音乐故事的情境，和孩子一起动动手、跳跳舞，也有利用身边的东西制作小道具，上演属于小朋友自己的小小音乐剧，让这套书不只是艺术欣赏的入门，更是增进亲子关系的好书。
