暑假到了，快来领书单啦！（之一）

暑假来啦！又到了小书虫们阅读的好时机。在美国的中小学里，图书馆的老师都会给小朋友们列一个暑假推荐书单。暑假书单一般以增强小朋友阅读兴趣为主，同时也增长一定的知识和词汇。这个书单不是硬性规定的，每个人按照自己的兴趣爱好来挑选读什么书，读多少本书。GKA的老师大部分来自精英荟萃的纽约市数一数二的道尔顿学校。让我们来看看道尔顿学校开的书单上有些什么精彩有趣的书吧。

道尔顿学校的书单根据年级分成升五升六和升七升八两个单子，每份书单都包括了几百本推荐书目，分成新添加，历史或现实主义，科幻，魔幻，惊险等类别的小说，以及诗歌，散文，传记等非小说类别。我们将在今后几个星期陆续为大家推出经过GKA老师整理的分类书单。对于刚接触英语阅读的孩子我们建议首先根据自己本身的兴趣选择合适的书籍，以便更好更快地培养阅读的兴趣和习惯；其次可以通过蓝思网站（www.lexile.com）查询相应的蓝思指数，选择适合孩子阅读能力的书籍。

今天为大家带来的是五六年级小朋友喜闻乐见的小说类书目。由于道尔顿学校原有的书单太长，GKA的老师根据中国学生的特点精心整理挑选出12本／套书籍。GKA学员当中学有余力的同学如果需要更多推荐书目，可以和我们联系，我们会根据学生的个人喜好和能力做出更多推荐。

课程主要内容：

本课程由道尔顿学校的图书馆馆长Roxanne老师带领学员们阅读英语原版读物，帮助学员掌握阅读技巧、提升阅读能力、形成阅读习惯。学员们将阅读不同体裁的书籍，并从多个不同角度去进行分析研讨。在每本书阅读完毕后，学员们将在老师引导下开展深层次的讨论。在课程上老师将具体指导学生从哪些角度入手去更好地批判性地阅读，对学有余力的学生，老师还将推荐更多对该学生适合的书目。除了课堂的正式讨论外，每个学员还需要对特定书籍的作者、背景以及其它相关细节进行调研。
