终于挤进爱优思这辆神奇校车，谢谢张老师和周老师哈！

第1次上课，正好是太空之旅，紧张与兴奋都有啊。

讲到Protest这个词时，女儿举了个例子解释，妈妈让我把我喜欢的东西给另一个孩子，我就会Protest。老师回说，在Parents和Teacher面前，孩子的Protest通常都是没什么用的。

Sensible是另一个让我耳目一新的词。

女儿第一次的作业

What I’d like to be when I grow up

I’d like to be an astronaut when I’ grow up. Ah, think of all the things you can do! See the stars, the second earth, the new galaxies waiting for you to discover! Think of losing weight! Flying in the air, wonderful! Catching food with your mouth, playing chess that fly! Jumping higher than a kangaroo when you’re on the moon!

But it is dangerous too. Your space- ship may be wrecked with a leak. You may be killed by some disaster. Your air tank may run out of oxygen. And you may be careful with all the buttons. Your ship may be hit by a huge piece of space junk.

It takes a lot of training to be an astronaut. You have to be smart, you have to pass tests, and you can’t wear glasses.You can’t be too tall, too short or too fat.so, get ready! Get set! Go! Get ready to begin your journey!

I really really really really want to be an astronaut when I grow up. So I’m going to prepare right now!

以上這幾句是老師特別標注的，老師的說明是：The way you had those last 3 lines before – many of them were not sentences

問一下女兒，她說她明白老師的意思。

第2次課（1月31日）

上課的時候，老師問誰知道第一個上天的是誰？女兒舉手說是Monkey。沒想到她得到了老師的肯定，下課後我問她是怎麼知道的，她說你忘了Curious George啦？

第二次的作業，是有關假期的。

MY MOST EXCITING DAY IN THIS HOLIDAY
  My most exciting day in this holiday should be the day when I went to my grandmother’s. They had a dog and it was very cute! It had a snowy white coat, a round head and sharp pointy ears. It had a long, bushy tail. But it was sick. If it couldn’t get well, it would die.
  I was worried about it, nevertheless, I took the dog for a walk. Soon, I learned even a sick dog could make any person happy！The day when I was to leave, it pawed at me and whined. Oh how I wish I had a dog like that! So smart, so honest, so faithful!

作業的問題，其實，對女兒來說，寫作素材不是問題，她的生活倒目前為止，也還算豐富，寫自己生活中的事情不用搜腸刮肚。目前的問題在語法和打字上。還好這兩項內容，現在也都在良好的發展趨勢中，我覺得很滿意。一是，語法。寫作的確提升語法，而且老師講得很細。二是，打字。寫作的確提升打字。女兒每次作業都自己打，雖然打字的確影響了她的思路，有時候會因為打字而放棄一些腦海裡的句子，但她還在堅持打。

課程的常規已經慢慢凸顯出來，這周的課就已經是第6次了。女兒的作業是越做越好了，通常是在週末完成。最近三次的作業：

NEIL ARMSTRONG
The person I admire is Neil Armstrong. He was the first person to walk on the moon. I admire him because I want to be an astronaut too. I even want to be the first woman to walk on the moon！I really want to go to the moon because I want to pick a moon rock and study it.
And I will get a chance to make other exiting adventures! Probably I will get a night’s sleep or two in a space hotel and get to do some experiments too！
Neil Armstrong was “a reluctant American hero who always believed he was just doing his job." When he first stepped off Apollo 10, billions of people cheered for this hero, but, Armstrong seemed uncomfortable when he gave speeches! He was a modest fellow and reliable. I look up to him.

My Best Friend
My best friend is Yanhang. We have lots of fun together. Yanhang is tall and thin. She has long hair, big eyes and small mouth. She has a good sense of humor. She often makes a joke which makes us laugh until we’re sick! She does a lot of silly things. Once, when we were going on with detective business, she poured water on her head!
I love being with her, though the things don’t always turn out quite as I expect!

Biking
I like to bike when I go outside. It’s fun. When I’m on my bike, I feel like riding on the wind! I ride faster and faster, and I feel freer than the wind for I am on a bike!
I often ride my bike. It feels great. I like the wind brushing past my face as I ride downhill, uphill. I like the scent of freeness in the air, the sunshine washing the great land. I like the little wild flowers and the little green grass by the road for I love to ride a bike!

Weird days can come when you’re with Gregory Shao. Nice he is, but really unpredictable. Worst thing is I always have to clean up for him, but not the times when he climbs trees with me. That Greg, Too imaginative.
It is not my style to play with boys. I think boys are too wild. But Gregory is not like other boys. He is nice.
Today he climbed trees with me. We sat on the very top branch of the old tree. I didn’t speak for a long long time. We watched the beautiful view. Greg and I then watched our “suspects” and yelled: “I win!” or “No, I win!” (This is a little game we play) We leap down, run to chase the “suspect”, I on foot, he on bike. Then, we sprayed each other with water, did somersaults and cartwheels, laughing in the fresh spring air.

这一段的作业，我比较喜欢的是 I love swimming .

I Love Swimming

        My favorite sport is swimming, I like it very much. I like to swim in fine weather and bad weather. I step up the bank, put on my glasses, and look down into the clear, calm water beneath my feet. I imagine seaweed, clown fish living down in that water. I dive in. I swim with the sharks, the stingrays, and the mantas. I dance with the dolphins, the turtles, and the manatees. I swim freely not thinking about any of my troubles, just swim, swim, and enjoy the lovely view before your eyes.
       
        Swimming is good exercise, it can help you build your lung vital capacity, make you strong and healthy. Leave all your discouraging pessimism behind when you swim. Enjoy the time when you’re swimming. Feel the waves around you. Relax. Just relax…

这一篇里那句Leave all your discouraging pessimism behind，来自她背诵的Life is what we make it. 虽然是很久之前背的，但背了就记在脑子里，并且还能用出来，可见，还是要想办法让她背。
