开学4周了，忙碌依旧。

这学期的作业明显多了起来，每天的预习和摘抄背诵，都是1小时才能完成，这个学习认真的孩子，字写得工工整整，速度就慢，在这一点上好像无法再改进了。
语文方面仍然是痴迷地听着《三国演义》感觉听书之后，成语倒是长进了不少，常常能脱口而出。重读林汉达的《历史故事》，《爱的教育》翻了两页就放下了，怎么劝也不愿意读，无奈！
英语，听Harry Potter，缓慢地进行中，已经没了以前听《猫头鹰》的痴迷。每天睡前，抽空读读Harry Potter，时多时少，却也乐在其中。读完了两本，没有时间去给她做单词卡，简单翻了翻，用词并不难，读懂多少没去深究。

口头作文一篇，好喜欢最后一段，孩子的语言，真实！

I like islands best. Three years ago, I went to the most beautiful island in China which is called Wuzhizhou. Zhou means island in Chinese.

It is located in South China. Wuzhizhou has beautiful seas; white beaches and colorful fish. The sea is very blue and the water is warm. The sand on the beach is white. So it is called the Silvery Beach.


When I went there, I swam in the sea everyday. It was like having a bath while little fish swam happily around me. I was in a good mood because the fish and birds were kind. The birds were so kind that they didn’t poke me with their beaks while trying to catch fish.

I even got a chance to go fishing in the sea. That was really amazing. There was a kind of fish called foolish fish because they always get caught. I caught lots of them.


Wuzhizhou is very beautiful. I have been there for one week, but I felt I only stayed there for one day. But it meant a lot to me because it is the most beautiful island in China.

BIG BEN
Let’s go to London to visit Big Ben.

Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell for the clock at the Palace of Westminster in London. It celebrated its 150th anniversary on May 31st 2009. The tower was completed on  April 10th 1858 and has become one of the most prominent symbols of both London and England.

I’ve listened to New Concept English. It says Big Ben has once gone wrong because a painter who painted the Big Ben had hung a pot of paint on one of the hands. That slowed it down. But after that it hasn’t gone wrong again.

Big Ben is very beautiful and interesting. I wish I could go there.
