If children live with criticism,  如果孩子活在批評中，
they learns to condemn.  他們學會責難。
If children live with hostility,
如果孩子活在敵意中，
they learn to fight. 他們學會爭競。


If children live with fear, 如果孩子活在恐懼中，
they learn to be apprehensive.
他們學會擔憂。


If children live with pity, 如果孩子活在遺憾中，
they learn to feel sorry for themselves. 他們學會自憐。

If children live with ridicule, 如果孩子活在嘲笑裏，
He learns to be shy.
他們學會退縮。

If children live with shame, 如果孩子活在羞愧裏，
they learn to feel guilty.
他們學會內疚(自責)。
If children live with encouragement, 如果孩子活在鼓勵裏，
they learn confidence.
他們學會有自信。

If children live with tolerance,
如果孩子在生活中被寬容，
they learn to be patient.
他們學會有耐心。

If children live with praise,
如果孩子活在讚美中，
they learn to appreciate.
他們學會感恩。

If children live with approval,
如果孩子活在認同中，
they learn to like himself.
他們學會自愛。
If children live with recognition,
如果孩子活在肯定中，
they learn it is good to have a goal. 他們學會在生活中有目標。
If children live with sharing,
如果孩子活在分享中，
they learn generosity. 他們學會慷慨。

If children live with honesty, 如果孩子活在誠實中，

they learn truthfulness. 他們學會的是真誠。
If children live with fairness, 如果孩子活在公平中，
they learn justice.
他們學會公義。


If children live with kindness and consideration, 如果孩子活在友好和被尊重中，
they learn respect.
他們學會尊重。

If children live with security, 如果孩子活在被保護中，（有安定感）
they learn to have faith in themselves and in those about them.

他們學會信任自己及他人。

If children live with friendliness, 如果孩子活在友善中，
they learn the world is a nice place in which to live.
他們就知道世界是美好的。
