In the first century before our era, when the Romans came to Egypt, they found the valley full of strange little pictures which seemed have something to do with the history of the country. But the Romans were not interested in "anything foreign" and did not inqire into the origin of these qeer figurs which covered the walls of the temples and the walls of the palaces and endless reams of flat sheets made out of the papyrus reed. The last of the Egyptian priests who had understood the holy art of making such pictures had died several years before. 这是我复述出来后再默写出来的《人类的故事》中的一段英文。(Angella)11前两天晚上,我很认真地找Angella谈她的学习,中心意思是批评她最近的学习状况不佳。其主要表现是,上课走神,几乎不怎么听讲解,练习也走过场,不甚用心。我还指出,Dylan在大踏步前进,Tony也悄悄快步跟进,唯独她在吃老本。她当时似触动不小,还留了眼泪。这几天学习表现得也主动了,几天的默写练习,她做得很积极,也有成效。在复述的基础上,转向默写,为下一步的英文写作奠定基础。这些天主要对孩子们的记忆训练作为重点进行指导,由此导入记忆复述和默写。在我看来,这是训练必要的“童子功”。Dylan和Tony兄弟俩,以前因为对字母组合与读音的联系尚未形成较好的感觉,估计在其默写上还需进一步的训练,但早晚都应推进到像Angella那样,凡能读出的都应该能写出。希望在Angella的示范下,兄弟俩能够尽快跟上。 |
