This is my imaginary desert animal – the cabbit. It is very small. It has big ears to get cool and to listen to prey and predators. It has long eyelashes to help it keep sand and dust out of its eyes. It has huge eyes to help it see better at night to hunt prey. Its sharp claws help it defend itself from predators, for example, hawksaurs (hawks and dinosaurs combined that hunt in groups and can fly very fast to chase prey and escape from large predators that also are carnivores.). It has shovel feet which can help it dig tunnels and flat feet that help it chase prey and run away. It also has humps that store water and food. It can help humans travel in the desert by letting them sit on its back. By that time, humans would make machines to get living things bigger, so that they wouldn’t have to be mini human that could be trod on by huge animals. I think it is the best animal in the desert.
