2008年(书里还留着小票,所以知道什么时候买的哈),我买了一本薄薄的小书:Cornerstones of freedom The story of Ellis Island (下图),我才知道有这个地方,你知道吗?不知道的话,请先百度了解一下,再来听下面的视频。

Between 1992 and 1954 approximately 12 million immigrants came through Ellis Island.
