本场讲座针对于有兴趣赴美进行学习的学生和其家长。
美国驻上海总领事馆新闻文化处邀请到美国堪萨斯大学东亚研究中心Fu Jun女士和大家分享美国高等教育的价值和特点以及东西方文化差异。
同时, Fu女士还会介绍堪萨斯大学以及如何申请该学校。
美国驻上海总领馆的签证官员也将介绍学生签证申请和面试的准备工作。

讲座嘉宾介绍：      
Ms. Jun Fu has worked in the Center for East Asian Studies at the University of Kansas since 2004. In addition to serving as Accountant, Office Manager, and Foreign Language and Area Studies scholarship coordinator, she also assists with the development and support of collaborative projects between the University ofKansas and Chinese partner organizations. Her duties for the center range from organizing and coordinating presentations, working with the director and faculty members on grants, and assisting with community and education outreach.Prior to joining the University of Kansas, Ms. Fu held accounting positions at a technology company in Lawrence, Kansas and at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China in Wuhan. A native of China, she has lived in the United States since 1993.
