看sohu标题的说法，是儿童读物吗？
amazon.cn 上的：《希腊三部曲(套装共3册)》是全世界最快乐的童年笔记，世界级畅销书作家达雷尔的快乐童年组曲，比《昆虫记》更有趣的自然读本。

我用The corfu trilogy 搜索amazon，看到评论中有些家长是和10岁孩子共读

但当我用单本书名搜索amazon时，却说是18岁以上读物

她在语文版里有楼.

无事生非

这套书我读过，也择其中特别有趣的章节（极少）念给8岁的孩子听过——中文版。

全文给他读？不可能的。
里面的内容我不认为这么大的孩子能全然理解。

有更适合孩子的书，为什么要给他们读这个呢？

谢谢，我自己也在早前查过了，因为只找到一本，其他的无法确认，想再研究一下这个Lexile才提。






根据Lexile
1240L 就是给 Grade 11-12 （17-18岁）的青少年的读物了！

也就是说，Amazon的适读年龄是对的了。


咱家孩子还是多等几年才看 / 听这套故事好了

查过lexile，和amazon说的一样，适读年龄18岁左右
只能说论坛的孩子好厉害

哦，这套书一直在我家书柜上躺着，还没向女儿推荐过，我还要再等等吗？中文版15岁应该可以读了吧。

前段时间，女儿总是问我要看pride and prejudice，已经看了8章了。

刚查了下，这本书的lexile，是1190L，比楼主说的的书还低，是不是适合九年级孩子读啊，如果是，那我就不反对了，暑假就由着她去读吧。

It is important to note that the Lexile measure of a book refers to its text difficulty only. A Lexile measure does not address the content or quality of the book. Lexile measures are based on two well-established predictors of how difficult a text is to comprehend: word frequency and sentence length. Many other factors affect the relationship between a reader and a book, including its content, the age and interests of the reader, and the design of the actual book. The Lexile measure is a good starting point in your book-selection process, but you should always consider these other factors when making a decision about which book to choose.

给家里晚熟的孩子备着

根据Lexile Map，1190 是属于 / 适合 G9-10 阶段 / 年龄层 的孩子
不过正如我上帖引用的两段文字
Lexile 只是个参考准则，不是世界标准或决定孩子该有的阅读程度
选书，最主要还是要看孩子的接收能力、兴趣
