1986年金奖作品The Polar Express，作者是Chris Van Allsburg，也是少数得2次及以上金奖作品的作家 1982年金奖作品: Jumanji by Chris Van Allsburg 另在1980年有本honor book : The Garden Of Abdul Gasazi by Chris Van Allsburg

1984年金奖作品The Glorious Flight: Across the Channel with Louis Bleriot，作者是对有缘人：Alice & Martin Provensen 他们在1982年有一本honor book: A Visit to William Blake's Inn: Poems for Innocent and Experienced Travelers 维科上看到的： There was a remarkable similarity to the couple's early histories. Both were born in Chicago, Illinois, and both moved to California when they were twelve. Both received scholarships to the Art Institute of Chicago, and both attended the University of California, though at separate campuses. After college, Alice went to work with Walter Lantz Studio, the creators of Woody Woodpecker, and Martin took work with the rival Walt Disney Studio, where he collaborated on Dumbo, Fantasia, and Pinocchio.

1983年的金奖作品是： Shadow，作者是Marcia Brown (故事内容是翻译过来的，插画由其负责，她的很多获奖作品大都是翻译后重做的）。她也是个重量级的得奖作家了，3次金奖，3次honor books。 1962年金奖作品 Once a Mouse , 1955年金奖作品: Cinderella, or the Little Glass Slipper , 1954年honor book: The Steadfast Tin Soldier , 1953年hono book: Puss in Boots , 1952年honor book: Skipper John's Cook
