我和女儿乐乐的亲子读书楼（新的开始 2006）

乐乐的妈妈

12月10日

   周末，除了钢琴和舞蹈，我们读了不少书，乐乐也会自己读书了，读完还挺开心的！有时候她会要求我跟她一起读，我们俩就一人读一页。看到chemmama的母亲节的帖子http://bbs.etjy.com/thread-252058-1-1.html，把里面有文本的绘本（无图）给乐乐读了一遍，她最喜欢的就是“Mommy doesn’t know my name”，很有意思，还有一本My Mama had a dancing heart and she shared that heart with me，文字特别美。文本贴上来：

Mommy Doesn’t Know My Name
Mommy doesn’t know my name.
When I wake up in the morning she comes in to get me.
“Is that my little chickadee?” she says.
I’m not a chickadee. I’m Hannah.
After I’m dressed we have breakfast.
My cup slips, and I spill orange juice.
“Oh, no,” I cry.
“It’s O.K., pumpkin,” said Mommy.   “Accidents happen to everyone.”
Do accidents happen to pumpkins?  I’m not a pumpkin. I’m Hannah.
Soon we are at Sharon’s house.
Mommy gives me a kiss.  “See you later, alligator,” she says.
I’m not an alligator!  I’m Hannah.
When we are home again Mommy makes dinner.
I’m hungry and can’t wait.
“You little devil,” says Mommy.  “Go wash your hands.”
I’m not a devil. I’m Hannah.
After dinner we do a puzzle.
Then Mommy reads her book.
I want to play some more.  “Boo!” I shout.
“Help!” screams Mommy.  “It’s a monser.”
I’m not a monster.  I’m Hannah.
Mommy puts on some music and we dance.
Around and around we twirl.
Mommy gets tired and has to sit down.
I keep dancing.
I make silly faces and kick my feet in the air.
“You funny monkey,” says Mommy. She laughs.
I’m not a monkey.   I’m Hannah.
When it is bedtime we have s story.
Mommy sings a good-night song, but I want to talk some more.
“Shh,” says Mommy.  “Be a quiet little mouse.”
I sit up in my bed.
“I’m not a mouse,” I say, “I’m Hannah!”
“Yes, I know,” says Mommy.  She give me a hug.
“You’re Hannah.  My very own happy little, funny little girl.”

   最近看到一段话，觉得说的很对——

   我们平时对中国教育诟病，更多是指学校只有知识灌输，只有应试，还有大量家长将知识灌输前移，破坏孩子自己求知欲内生性的成长。孩子要直面竞争，需承担自己选择的责任，民主、宽松、自由的养育方式中从来没有忽略过，相反，因从小给了孩子选择的自由，执行中的民主协商，父母与孩子能更早确立边界，孩子能更早学会责任与自立。

   个人认为早教过程中引导孩子产生阅读的兴趣、探索的兴趣比较重要，我们做父母的要给孩子提供一个尽可能广阔的了解世界的空间。另外在孩子养成一个良好的习惯之前，父母还是需要引导和督促的，只是不要包办过多。

   昨天乐乐自己读了bank street一本绘本“Could it be？”春天到了，熊被吵醒了，是什么声音呢？找啊找，原来是蜜蜂和蜂蜜的声音。文中一堆象声词，很有意思。还读了一本Nic bishop的Level 2科普书Butterflies，乐乐比较熟悉的主题，读得比较顺。Nic bishop的介绍请见子川妈的帖子“聊聊子川喜欢的科普读物”，里面的书乐乐也都很喜欢，像子川妈说的，都是科学和艺术的结合。中文阅读我们还是继续读玛蒂娜的贴纸书，字大有拼音，乐乐喜欢，顺便就把识字的任务完成了。

12月13日

   这两天和乐乐在读“Scientist in the fields”系列书之一“The tarantula scientist”，这本是silbert honor book，也是和前段时间读的“The snake scientist”一个系列，感觉很是喜欢，书中处处透露着动物的可爱，虽然外形看上去可怕，但待你了解它们之后发现它们其实很温柔。所以又买了几本，其中一本是Once A Wolf，很喜欢《狼图腾》，所以很期待。

   还有PERCY THE PARK KEEPER，作者：Nick Butterworth，也是真心喜欢，昨天乐乐听了四本书的音频，我们也读了两本，乐乐和我都非常开心，亚马逊120元一套六本，详细介绍在这里：http://bbs.etjy.com/viewthread.php?tid=227612&page=1，到现在，我觉得学习英文真是一种乐趣，可以接触到更多主题的书，感受更多的快乐。

   美国幼儿数学上有一题，是这样的：60、60、24、（ ）、4、12，请你找到规律，填出括号里的数字。呵呵，我是看答案才恍然大悟的 。

这些数字都是关于时间的，理解是递进的
第一个 60表示秒 1分钟有60秒
第二个 60表示分 1小时有60分
第三个 24表示小时 1天有24小时
第四个 7  表示天     1星期有7天
第五个 4  表示星期 1个月有4个星期
第六个 12表示月     1年有12个月

刚开始觉得蛮难的，后来想想也不觉得难了，拓宽一下思维，也不错

   昨日就让乐乐自己读了一本bank street绘本“The donkey tales”，就是那个人抬驴的故事，里面有一句很哲理的话，“When you want to please everyone, remember this rule—— you’ll end up pleasing no one and make yourself a fool.”

   Spider is very amazing，来看看吧，spiders smell by their legs. They can regrow their legs and if one of legs injures, they will pull it off and eat it. Their stomach are in their head……另外，Tarantula身上有许多毛，有着独特的作用，这是乐乐问我的问题，没想到她刚问完这个问题，书上就开始介绍了，大家来说说看吧！然后我会把书中原文贴上来，呵呵！

   我们也准备向元元和米饭学习，开始跟读！就从机灵狗开始吧！

先贴The tarantula scientist里的一段关于tarantula’s hair的作用：

For most tarantulas, biting is a defense they’d rather not use at all. They’d rather hide. If that doesn’t work, some tarantulas use a defense more effective than fangs or venom: their hairs!

How can tarantulas use hair to protect themselves? Sam(书中的科学家) explains: When irritated, most New World tarantulas(those from North and South America) will use their rear pair of legs to kick hairs off their back end. Each hair is covered with tiny barbs like a porcupine(豪猪，箭猪) quill but is light enough to float on air currents.

Sam has had a few “hairy” experiences himself. He knows firsthand that these barbed hairs can get into the folds of skin in your neck, between your fingers, into your eyes, up your nose. The result? Itching and sneezing that make a smart predator leave the tarantula alone.

总的来说通俗易懂吧，孩子听了兴趣盎然，每天乐乐都会央求我再读一段，怪不得是获奖书呢！
