WASTED FOOD SPEECH
Dear teachers and students:
Good morning! I am Yu Xuan in class five Grade six. Today, My topic is "Cherish food; share with the country".
" 锄禾 " We can remember this poem from our childhood, but have we really saved food yet? School started more than a month ago, But, after the end of a meal in the cafeteria we can often see the "appalling" of waste. Students spilled rice on the ground; sometimes there is nearly a whole bowl of rice leat over on the table. There are still many students who did not their plate of rice. Seeing the white rice is ruined, we may have thought, the toil " 锄禾日当午，汗滴禾下土". Have we ever really known a cob of food? From seed to harvest, It is processed, done after 20 procedures, and includes people’s hard work.
Some might say: we are already far away from the hungry years; enough to eat, Eating rice has become a commonplace thing. Who will care about the origin of food, as well as discarded food? Yes, today we are happy, our motherland is strong and pros-per-ous; we don’t need to worry about clothes and food. Some of the students around us eat without considering how much they should eat. Perhaps you think that such little waste is nothing; but have you thought about it? Seven per cent of ar-able land area in the whole world needs to feed Twenty-two percent of the world population. The problem with feeding everyone is that we have so many people. Some people gave this example, 1.2 billion people’s mouths put together, is bigger than the world's largest square; Tiananmen Square. This is a really big mouth! An annual increase of just 15 million people will eat five billion kilograms of grain, so saving food for our country has a particularly great significance. The United Nations decided to make October 16 "World Food Day", China also chose this week as ‘grain saving week.’
Facing a serious food problem, "The Father of Hybrid Rice," Yuan Longping, and other researchers, are inventing new varieties of food to increase food production for our country and the world's food problems. As students, we should start with ourselves. We should truly cherish food and save food.
Students, patriotism is absolutely not a slogan. Sharing for the country is not a thing that is very far away from us. In fact, cherishing food is also sharing with the country. Our country is a big country, but there are not many resources, so we have to save food on the table, and share more with the country.

一早起来我乐呵呵的跑去给她梳头，她两边的新长的碎头发特别多，我说打点发蜡吧，显得精神点！就是死活不让，可我已经弄手上了就软硬兼施的给弄了几下，这下好了竟然哭起来不肯出门，半天出来了见还是有点乱，就叫去两边夹个夹子，我下去开车在门口等，可是等半天也不见人下楼，气得我牙，好好的一个早上搞得大家都不开心。 |
