和瓜瓜一起在遊戲學習(2003年12月)

趁著現在假期，花了點時間在家裡玩起幼兒園的科學遊戲，

用的是  steph9029超級版主提供的California Science Kindergarten
和          wangshitao樓主 提供的 Sid the Science Kid - Preschool Science
再加上 suwu8超級版主提供的  California Leveled Science Readers

一天一個小故事

瓜瓜是03年12月的羊寶寶，建樓開始於2010年1月

新年新希望

希望除了英文外，中文也能成長

California Science Kindergarten 對瓜瓜來說相對比較容易

所以大約是一個星期一個Chapter的進度，
目前已經完成了Chapter1和Chapter2，用了兩個星期的時間，
說是科普，其實一點都不困難，只是比較花時間準備，(一般來說就是把香蕉藏起來，別被吃掉)

所完成的實驗包含
1) 觀察香蕉的變化並畫出結果
     Sid the Science Kid 中也有提到觀察 E106 My Mushy Banana
     觀察的物件不單單只有香蕉，還包含西蘭菜和葡萄

2) 液態的水和固態的冰
    Sid the Science Kid 中也有提到 E108 My Ice Pops
  
3) 蜘蛛 (這是瓜瓜的興趣，我也沒辦法)
    spider Information 1. Where do they live? 2. How do they make webs? 3. How are the babies born?
   
基本上就是瓜瓜自己想問題，自己回答，大多數是用一個句子，加上一幅圖片，

那天，他問了我，蜘蛛和蒼蠅有心臟嗎？真的好難回答
這媽咪哪會啊！我對昆蟲一點興趣都沒有

同一個出版社還有分級的科學讀本，因為是帶音頻的PDF檔，瓜瓜很快就讀玩了

如果是自己讀書，而不需要幫忙的話，
Oxford Reading Tree 到第五級，第六級和第七級需要一些幫忙，
RAZ KID 因為帶音頻，用了一個星期由AA讀到了D，目前正在E應該會緩一下腳步

今天花了比較多的時間在數學上，所以花在實驗上的東西就相對少了些，
所以沒有時間好好的讓瓜瓜完成一個建築物

2010/01/05~~2010/01/11的學習計畫

READING

自主性的睡前讀書(Oxford Reading Tree)，還是維持在一天三本左右，
還好，Oxford Reading Tree的故事都挺短的，
單字也容易，大約唸過一兩次給他聽，瓜瓜就可以自己坑坑疤疤的唸出來，
我家附近圖書館的Oxford Reading Tree，都快給他讀完了，接下來得往新的目標發展了。
A.  RAZ的Tommy tales (還沒接觸過，不知道會不會喜歡)
B.  [Scott Foresman]的分級讀物，GK和G1
      這些都是在電腦上，對眼睛很不好啊！

睡前小故事+MP3
雖然還沒開始，目前打算來聽MAGIC TREE HOUSE，一天一到兩個章節，估計一星期一本

WRITING
以WAZ為主，加上Scott Foresman和Science的主題

關於科學方面，在大略的讀了幼兒園和小學一年級的SCIENCE之後，在我看來，
學校所設計的教材，還是以同學間的討論為主，即使是同一個實驗，小朋友之間還是有不同的觀點，
所以，其實並沒那麼適合在家教， 我打算，先快速帶過課文一次，
然後在讓瓜瓜從中找出他感興趣的部分來DIG，能學習到哪哩，我也不知道

以California Science K CH3+4為主，再加上G1的CH2+3
2010年1月的主題是動物以 a.住在哪裡、b.身體的部分、c.吃甚麼 為主
目標  希望能寫出一或兩篇Informational Report

當然，實驗還是會做的，重點是以瓜瓜感興趣，並且和動物有關的為主

書本打算往長一些的故事發展了，瓜瓜很喜歡Oxford Reading Tree，特別是其中的神奇鑰系列，
雖然故事簡短容易，總覺得少了些裝飾性的形容詞，對生字上的學習和寫作不利，

接下來的讀書重點會在
1.  Amelia Bedelia
2.  Magic Tree House

這幾天的重心幾乎都放在Magic Tree House上，
瓜瓜已經完成了第一本和第二本，
目前泛讀的書除了與動物有關的之外，又增添了恐龍和城堡，
沒有足夠的時間精讀與動物有關的書。

前兩天，瓜瓜在後院抓了隻甲蟲，目前每天最大的興趣就是觀察甲蟲。

An opossum is a small furry animal that likes to come out at night.
Opossums eat all green and yellow vegetables, like corns and most types of fruit. They also eat snails, insects, small birds even snakes.
hawk

A squirrel is an animal with a bushy tail. Squirrels live in trees. Squirrels eat fruit, nuts and berries. When they are starving, they will just about eat anything they can find.

chimpanzee
A chimpanzee is a type of African apes that inhabiting in a forest. Chimpanzees are smaller than gorillas.


ant
An ant is an insect. Ants live in large groups called colonies.

ape
An ape is an animal that looks like a large monkey without a tail. An ape has long arms and can stand on two feet.
animal 
An animal is any living thing that can move itself. Animals can run, hop, fly, crawl, swim, and walk. Insects, fish, frogs, snakes, birds, cows, dogs, and human beings are all animals.

camel
A camel is an animal that has one or two large humps on its back. Camels live in deserts and can travel a long way without water.

果然每天的時間就是這的多，把重心放在Science上，
就沒有足夠的時間看RAZ KID，花了兩個星期好不容易完成了E，
果然還是得放慢速度。

至於Magic Tree House，實在是太有趣了，
每晚睡前讓他聽四到五個章節，只需解釋他不懂的單字，
目前在第五本書，關於忍者^^

How can water change?


1. Observe the Ice 觀察冰塊

Ice is cold and hard. There is three bubbles in the ice.
There has some air in the ice that makes bubbles. There are grapes in the ice.
I put hot water on it and it get melting. We ate the grapes.

2. See how water change?

I have three cups. One has coverd a lid. Two of them had no lid.
One of them is in the refrigerator.

The one has no lid had no water.
The one in the refrigerator missing a little bit water.
The one has lid had on water gone.

上面兩個都是很簡單的科普遊戲，適合給四、五歲左右的小朋友，

瓜瓜的語言組織能力很差，即使是現在，還是無法完善的表達出自己的想法，
上面的小短文，雖然英文的文法並不是很好，
但是，可以用自己的語言表達出自己的意見，我已經認為有很大的進步了
