Alrighty! It is time for another wonderful beta adventure with Buster. I'll start out with saying that I'm pushing to level at the moment, so this issue will be about questing (at least the ones that I have done so far). I am still behind my fellow guildmates at level 60, so I plan on getting 61 by the end of this week. Now as I start at Honor Hold, there are two main ways out of the town: East and West. So once you exhaust the quests in town, both ways lead you to more quests. Now for soloing warriors, you will want to have spent heavy into the arms or fury talents trees. Ever since the creatures hit 61, I seem to be missing a lot, like my character is in a drunken stupor. Or you can wow gold always try and find some +hit or +weapons gear, which might make things a little bit easier.
It seems like every time I login, Blizzard has reset our talent points. After spending ten minutes figuring out how to spend my talents, it's time to quest. The first batch of quests you should pick up are in Hellfire Peninsula. They are your standard ground and pound, "kill x of y" and "collect x", quests. You have to go outside Honor Hold to kill a motley of Bonechewer Orcs, located just to the north near ruined catapults and machines of war. There is another quest that goes along with killing the Orcs, which instructs you to collect scraps from the ruined war machines (Wish that I had been sober enough to write down names now). Once you get those completed return to town to grab the follow up to the scrap quest, which sends you into Horde territory to destroy some weapons potentially dangerous to the Alliance. I've seen the Horde running around our war machines, so it is safe to assume they have the exact same quest. They are a nice change from the normal quests, but cheap wow gold nothing too innovative either. You basically click your bomb in your inventory and then throw the sucker right at four blade throwers that the Orcs are guarding for easy quest experience.
Now, I LOATHE, the "kill x" and "collect y" quests and I tend to avoid them at all costs. Sadly you can't do this since despite Honor Hold's large number of quests, a majority fit into these two categories. I am forced to complete a few just because it is a small, and I mean very small, step up from just plain grinding.
Yay more killing! I head back into the Inn to pick up a couple of more quests. One of them is a spectacularly easy quest where all you have to do is go straight south to get to the armory and find the small house in the back. A glowing spot on the ground will be the book that you need for an easy 8000 experience points. Once I get back to town, I discover I that I should have picked up another quest from the eastern tower of Honor Hold that also has to do with the Armor. It was okay that I missed it because it was another "kill x" (see a trend?) quest. I already killed 10 sorcerers, 10 foot soldiers, and 5 knights to get this dang book and now they want me to go back? The sorcerers have a bad habit of freezing you then standing back and blasting with fire. Keep Intercept ready for these situations. The foot soldiers are easy, just use heroic strike on them and maybe throw in a hamstring to keep them from fleeing only to return with a buddy. The knights... I hate 'em. They are fairly easy until you aggro two. Why you ask? They heal. They heal a lot. In another words, you could have a sorceror down to 5% getting ready for that sweet, sweet execute, when buy wow gold the rat bastard sneaks up and heals the him for almost all of his life. Then of course you realize your personal healer isn't coming to the rescues, so it becomes time to run for your life. Once you kill the 10, 10, and 5 you can run back to the east tower and get the follow up.
Back to the Armory! The follow up is to kill two named mobs in the armory. They drop the same things as regular mobs, so don't get too excited or try to camp them for loot. One is an Archmage that loves throwing arcane bolts at you. The other is a straight fighter, who seemed fairly easy. They are pretty easy to find, so no spoilers for you (really you can't miss them)! Once you throw down with those guys go back for all the experience that you got from the quests around here. So admittedly many of the quests are boring and uncreative, but the experience point values are big enough to make up for it.
After finishes with the quests at the east tower, I jogged over to the west. The west is very important in the fact that you get one of the first long string quests here. "The Overlord Quest" comes up after a long line of other quests seen below. You don't want to accidently miss a step in this quest line, because the rewards are well worth it (see below). The bombing runs in this quest line are also quite fun compared to the "standard issue" quests I was speaking about above. However if you feel like jumping right to the rewards, skip ahead to the next paragraph.
For Alliance, the quest line is:
? Arrival in Outland
? Journey to Honor Hold
? Force Commander Danath
? The Legion Reborn
? Path of Anguish
? Expedition Point
? Distrupt their Reinforcements
? Mission: The Murketh and Shaadraz Gateways
? Shatter Point
? Mission: The Abyssal Shelf
? Go to the Front
? Disruption - Forge Camp
? Enemy of my Enemy
? Invasion Point: Annihilator
While the above quest line gives a lot of experience, if someone wants to go just for the rewards, they can jump to here. Arix'Amal drops the note that begins the Dark Missive quest, even if you haven't completed the above. Turn in Dark Missive to Warp-Scryer Kryv at Honor Hold's Keep and then get the quest for Overlord from the Force Commander standing right next to him. This quest requires at least four people. Arazzius the Cruel is a 63 Elite at the north end of the Pools of Aggonar, which is in the northern part of Hellfire Peninsula. Arazzius isn't too hard with a decent sized group but he does summon Infernals to annoy you during the fight.
This week was a bit boring compared to last week, but with Thanksgiving and all, I needed to work on stuff that can be done during the distractions of the holidays. Next week I hope to get back into the instances, maybe even venture over to Coilfang. See you all next Monday!
