对于美国人来说，什么样的儿童可以被为天才儿童呢？按照此份通知，他们通常有如下的表现。

1.Organizes collections, people, ideas；能够组织物品，人众，和思想；
2.Learns rapidly and readily applies new knowledge；能够迅速学习新知识，并且马上实际使用；
3.Has good memory；记忆力强；
4.Holds a longer attention span；能够保持长时间注意力集中；
5.Demonstrates compassion for others；表现对他人的同情心；
6.Recognizes a strong sense of justice；具有强烈的正义感；
Demonstrates perfectionism；做事追求全美；
7.Has a high degree of energy；精力高度充沛；
8.Enjoys imaginative, creative play；喜爱具有想像力和创造性的活动；
9.Prefers older companions；喜欢与年长者为伴；
10.Demonstrates "common sense"；常识性强；
11.Attracted to a wide range of interests or narrow one；兴趣广泛，或者兴趣专一；
12.Shows interest in experimenting and doing things differently；表现出对探索试验的兴趣，凡事总想找到不同的方法来做；
13.Sees relationships, identifies similarities, differences, analogies；能够发现事物之间的联系，识别相似，不同，类别；
14.Uses extensive vocabulary；用语词汇丰富；
15.Displays unusual sense of humor；表现非同寻常的幽默感；
16.Demonstrates ability with puzzles, mazes, or numbers；在拼块，迷宫，和数字方面具备能力；
17.Seems mature for age at times；看来比实际年龄成熟；
18.Shows an insatiable curiosity and persistence；表现不倦的好奇，并坚持不懈；
19.May have intense concentration；可能特别聚精会神；
20.Is unusually attentive to details or not concerned with details at all；对细节表现出非同寻常的注意，或者对细节完全不在意；
21.Recognizes patterns easily；能轻易识别出规律模式；
22.Demonstrates perseverance in areas of interest；在感兴趣的领域表现出追求不懈的精神；
23.May question authority；可能对权威提出疑问；
24.Displays an advanced senses of conscience；表现高度的理智；
25.Perceives abstract ideas, understands complex concepts；领悟抽象思想，理解复杂的概念；
26.May demonstrate intense emotional and/or physical sensitivity；可能显示情感和体能方面的强烈敏感度；
17.Seen as a leader by peers；被同学们当做领导者看待。

很有感触，挑一些反差大的中国的标准比较一下：


2.Learns rapidly and readily applies new knowledge；能够迅速学习新知识，并且马上实际使用；
中： 能够迅速学习新知识，但不知道如何用到生活实践中去。

5.Demonstrates compassion for others；表现对他人的同情心；
中：不可否认中国人的同情心较弱：“千军万马过独木桥”，“960的资源12亿人争”，“遭受不幸的人太多了，同情不过来”“”

6.Recognizes a strong sense of justice；具有强烈的正义感；
中：中国人面对社会强权和法律薄弱，只有首求“躲避黑暗，明哲保身”，天生正义感的支持信念就薄弱。

8.Enjoys imaginative, creative play；喜爱具有想像力和创造性的活动；
中：中国人幼时还行，越大这方面越没出息，磨道里的驴你把嚼头给它松开它也还只会围着磨道转圈。

12.Shows interest in experimenting and doing things differently；表现出对探索试验的兴趣，凡事总想找到不同的方法来做；
中：想想“墨守成规”“因循守旧”“枪打出头鸟”“出头的椽子线缆（先烂，我就不改这两个字，凉一凉搜狗拼音，妈的，晾一晾也打不出）”

15.Displays unusual sense of humor；表现非同寻常的幽默感；
中：中国村长以上的干部你见过有幽默的么？

17.Seems mature for age at times；看来比实际年龄成熟；
中：这一点中国人领先了，一个个四十岁都未老先衰，国外五十多那是正浪漫的好时光

22.Demonstrates perseverance in areas of interest；在感兴趣的领域表现出追求不懈的精神；
中：我想去玩赛车、去雅鲁藏布江峡谷探险、沉心钻研儿童教育，但我不得不每天疲于奔命去挣回几斗米来。

23.May question authority；可能对权威提出疑问；
中：请观眼下信息的严重缺乏、不真实和普遍的受教育水平低下，你觉得可能么？

24.Displays an advanced senses of conscience；表现高度的理智；
中：这点中国人强，祖先留下了领先世界的、深入骨髓的“忍耐”和“理智”。

17.Seen as a leader by peers；被同学们当做领导者看待。
中：奴役者和被奴役者这两个角色对中国人来讲都太小儿科了，姑且不说千年流传的领导者的“御人之术”，就连电影中“太监”这个角色中国任何一个男演员都有把它演得惟妙惟肖的天赋。
