还有他翻译的《浮生六记》(汉英对照 / 绘图本） ，Six Chapters of a Floating Life，真好～ 当然，这本沈三白的书还是不太适合给高中以下的孩子看吧。：）

他的书让当年的我非常的痴迷，就像房龙的一样，同时也是学英语的好书，在amazon也是五星，当然，不同的声音总是有，有点惊讶老外喜欢鲁迅：
"I am really surprised to find the popularity of Lin Yu-tang in the United States. Lin can hardly be labelled as a good writer, and this book is not so great. I hope lovers of Chinese culture and literature would rather read "The Dream of the Red Chamber" or Lu Xun's essays. "

—— 应该算一本新闻业的必读书吧，新闻业是关注社会的一个很好的窗口吖～

—— 可以和《汉字王国》对照着看看吧。

Although this work is designed as a supplement to the Core Knowledge series (What Your Kindergartener Should Know, etc.), it could serve as a useful, accessible annotated bibliography for both parents and teachers.

The arrangement is simple. There are seven main curricular areas: Language Arts, World History and Geography, American History and Geography, Visual Arts, Music, Science, and Math. Each of these areas is divided by grade levels (K^-6) and then by other topical subdivisions, under which are annotated 5 to 10 books and other media, such as software or recordings.

——这本书让我想起《亲近母语》以及版上另一个帖子里的评论，大意是母语应该承载更多的内容，不要只是单纯的“语文”，而是各门学科。英语也是一样吧，所以这本家长手册应该很不错，在amazon评价排名都很好，貌似就是老了点儿，可以考虑再版啦

此外俺还想到：政治这门课确实很有中国特色嗄。。。只有俺们把“政史地”连在一起呀。。。至于视觉艺术，一开始觉得怪怪的，后来想到应该是包括了绘画、雕塑、建筑等等吧～
