每天爬十层楼，来向楼主学习~你家小子太棒了！
我家小子也是龙子，四年级，学校英语三年级才开课，成绩还行，课外我们没有重视英语~后悔啊，是不是太晚了？
楼主能否推荐一些适合我家小子看或者听的英语资料？小子只在学校学了两年英语课，单词量很少~
希望楼主指导~

先汗一个 ,我们的英语阅读也进行得不够呢。
现在我们正在努力弥补阅读这一块儿的不足。

我家小子除了看《哈里波特》，还喜欢看《horrid Henry》,《小屁孩日记》，《草原小木屋》。
也读raz 、哈考特的分级阅读读物G3、G4。好像读什么他都喜欢。

女儿学校的英语老师布置每一、两周写一篇英语日记加一段英语文章摘抄。昨晚翻女儿的作业本发现上周末写得较长，发在这里给楼主家公子看看。我发现一个拼写错误，midst写成了midist，电子版已经改正。

A Fun Activity
（2010-5-23）

Today I had my table tennis lesson. And just when we are having recess, the boy who plays table tennis with me, XZJ, picked a lot of beautiful leaves from a nearby tree, and threw them on me! Then, he ran away as fast as he could! Huh!

I shook the leaves off me, then gathered the leaves from the road, and brought them home. Because, I felt sorry for those leaves, and it seems a waste if I just leave them on the road and let them to be crushed by some cars.

I washed the fresh leaves until they are spotlessly clean. Then I wiped them dry and thought about what I could do with all these leaves. Then, I got a strange idea. What if, what if I sew these leaves together, and make a carpet-sort-of- thing? Hey, not bad! I could sew pretty well. Them, I could use it to camouflage myself in the midst of a wood, and that will be fun!

I began to gather the needles and thread. I chose the light-green colored thread. I began to sew, and I know it will be a fun activity!

是的，尚未“理性的”学习语法。所以Adeley阿姨说了are应该用were后我跟帖说：

我还是坚持儿童学语言是文本直接的方式，而成人学外语是语法学习的方式这个理念（前者是感性的后者是理性的）。这是我觉得语感的获得唯有直接接触大量的文本，而同时语法学习在学校教学中将会进行。如果过早的进行语法学习，则会挤占前者的时间，以及影响孩子于生活语速中把握整个句子的大意的能力的形成。

但目前也开始最少量的讲解。比如Harcourt G3中有一本叫Song of the Cicada，我很喜欢。其第一个自然段和第二个自然段如下：

This cicada has already lived seventeen years, but it is not yet fully grown. It is still a nymph. That means it is still a bady. It is getting ready to grow one last time.

Very early this morning, the cicada nymph dug a tunnel from under groun. It crawled from a small hole. It had been in the ground for years.

我前天就问YN这里had和have (has) 加动词过去式是何意？YN说不知。我就讲了过去完成式和现在完成式以及二者之别。YN表示理解。

准备接下来结合佳作范文将明显的包括时态在内语法点提示一下。从她的习作看，一般过去、现在和将来时以及被动态等她已经通过感性方式掌握。

实际上母语国家孩子理性的学习语法开始得也很晚。YN已经做完了美国珍宝教材G2的全部练习，G3的做完了三分之一，但里面牵涉的语法仍然很简单。

但就是对完成式YN也有些感觉，只是还不能于每处完全用对。下面这段是后天YN代表学校参加##区小学生讲故事比赛的开场白，我起的草稿，但其中的had是YN加上的，而最后一句我原来写为Let's enjoy it，YN改成了如此。

Teachers and mates, today, I had brought everyone a story from Aesop’s Fables. I hope you will enjoy it.

我很赞同。
通过多听多看英语故事，孩子会很自然地领悟各种时态。
当他运用的时候，我感觉是下意识地觉得就该这么说，没有思考，没有中英转换，可以说是“无缝衔接”。
