黄鹤楼诗词首推唐崔颢的《黄鹤楼》


昔人已乘黄鹤去，
此地空余黄鹤楼。
黄鹤一去不复返，
白云千载空悠悠。
晴川历历汉阳树，
芳草萋萋鹦鹉洲。
日暮乡关何处是，
烟波江上使人愁。


据说李白登临此楼，也是诗兴盎然，当他发现崔颢的这首诗后，连称“绝妙”，于是写了四名打油诗：“一拳捶碎黄鹤楼，一脚踢翻鹦鹉洲，眼前有景道不得，崔颢题诗在上头”。

便搁笔不写 ，后有好事之人据此在黄鹤楼东侧修建一座李白“搁笔亭”。 现在黄鹤楼公园内有崔颢的题诗壁，对面即是李白搁笔亭。

李白写下的诗词与黄鹤楼有关的不下五首，其中有一首《与史郎中钦听黄鹤楼上吹笛》：“一为迁客去长沙，西望长安不见家。黄鹤楼中吹玉笛，江城五月落梅花。”从此，“江城”便成为武汉的美称。

唐代文学家阎伯理在其《黄鹤楼记》中描述“耸构巍峨，上依河汉，下临江流......”可谓：“ 危乎，高哉！”无怪李白以“黄鹤西楼月，长江万里情。春风三十度，空忆武昌城。送尔难为别，衔杯惜未倾。湖连张乐地，山逐泛舟行。诺谓楚人重，诗传谢眺清。沧浪吾有曲，寄语棹歌声。”抒发自己心头的感慨。

黄鹤楼主楼壁画上有一首《送孟浩然之广陵》：“故人西辞黄鹤楼，烟花三月下扬州。孤帆远影 碧空尽，惟见长江天际流。”这首诗也成为咏诵黄鹤楼的绝句。

贾岛《黄鹤楼》
高槛危檐势若飞， 孤云野水共依依。 青山万古长如旧， 黄鹤何年去不归？ 岸映西州城半出， 烟生南浦树将微。 定知羽客无因见， 空使含情对落晖！
