什么是Sight Words？

Sight Words 是儿童阅读初期的常用词，约有220个词。它是由美国学者 Dolch 针对英语儿童读物做了系统分析和统计后整理出来的最常使用的词。这些词在英语教科书，图书，报章，杂志中的出现率为60 - 85%。

Sight Words有什么用？

由于这些词是初期阅读物中出现频率很高的单词，所以如果孩子能够在阅读初级阶段，在十个词中已能读出其中的七，八个词，其余的再利用phonics拼读法试着读出，再结合读本中提供的图片以及前后文，做文意之猜测与理解，那么，基本上，孩子就踏出英语阅读的第一步了。
