About　　1、有些人的钱来路不正，你可以这么说：

　　The only thing I like about the rich people is their money.
　　2、父母经常警告孩子：你不要变成象XXX那样的人，偏偏有人非常自信地说：
　　我是你母亲警告（你不要变成）的那种人！
　　I'm the person your mother warned you about！
　　3、人们可能都有一些不想让别人知道的事儿，你可以这么说：
　　担心吧，你的事儿上帝都知道。
　　Worry！God knows all about you.

actor
　　1、讽刺某些演员大煞风景。如果你非常自信，你在拍照时你也可以调侃自己：如果我不站在这儿，景色会更漂亮的。
　　景色绝对漂亮，但演员挡在了前面。
　　The scenery[景色]is absolutely beautiful but the actors got in the way of it.
　　2、导演在祈祷，又想要好演员，又要便宜。
　　上帝，给我一些好演员吧——要便宜。
　　God，send me some good actors——cheap.
Address
　　师：George，你能给我背背林肯的Gettysburg演讲吗？
　　George：不能，但他过去常住在华盛顿白宫里。
　　注：address：地址；演讲。George还以为老师要他背林肯家的地址呢。
　　Teacher：George，can you give me Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address？
　　George：No，but he used to live at the WhiteHouse in WashingD.C.
after
　　1、女人35岁后不应该要孩子了。
　　真的……35个孩子足够了。
　　Women shouldnot have children after35.Really……35children are enough.
　　注：第一句话还可理解成：女人有了35个孩子后不应该再要了。
　　2、生活对他来说并不容易，他想把100粒安眠药全部吃下去结束自己的生命，但刚吃了两粒就睡着了。
　　But after the first two，he fell asleep.
　　3、假设你在丛林里，一只老虎正追你，你应该怎么做？
　　快不要假设了。
　　Pretend you are in a jungle，[丛林]and a tiger is after you，what should you do？
　　Stop pretending.
　　4、当十条狗追一个人时是几点？——1点10分
　　What time is it when a man is chased by ten dogs？
　　It’s ten after one.
Afford
　　1、现在人人都在想方设法挣钱，如果你连挣钱的时间都挤不出来，那也挺牛的。
　　我可浪费不起时间去挣钱。
　　I can not afford to waste my time making money.
　　2、为什么博物馆里有有老恐龙骨头？
　　买不起新的。
　　Why are there old dinosaur bones in the museum[博物馆]？
　　They can’t afford new ones.
