SWR认为y的读音是长音/I/和短音/i/,而没有/E/。这是因为baby,penny诸如此类词y一般都是非重读。二是如果认为是/E/,听写者还会有E, EE, EA, EY这些音图可以选择,而认为是/i/,只有y和i可选,而英语单词是不能以i结尾的,所以更能帮助拼写。是长是短美国历史上有争论,大约在二十世纪五十年代后期字典注为短音。 各种规则可以对照比较,哪个更好就吸收哪个,就这点而言,我认为后者好。欢迎继续讨论.

翔+2006-03-11 15:40-->引用:翔 @ 2006-03-11 15:40 在这里快一个月了,收获很多.谢谢你们--可爱的妈妈们!虽然对phonic还是很迷惑,但是却坚定了我和儿子将英语学习进行到底的决心.你的这些规则我还有太多不明白,但是我已经试着将C在I,E,Y之前SAYS/K/告诉儿子,没想到他表现出了极大的兴趣.把单词表上的所有带字母C的单词重读了好几遍.看着他如此热情,我又高兴,又伤心,我的英文太差,真有点力不从心.跑题了,不好意思.
