I was invited by the principal and Ms. white to the school to discuss the communication problem of Victoria two weeks ago. According to her teacher's review that Victoria answered the questions just with one word. She thought the kids in her age were chat-box and they can make the sentence using many words and can describe the things vividly. However, Victoria looks differently; so they are concerned if mu daughter has language or hearing issue. To tell the truth, I really upset about what the teacher told me, but I knew Victoria basically spoke mandarin at home and she didn't expose to english-speaking environment a lot. That's why her english talking is not well. Ms. White said if Victoria was diagnosed having talking problem, I'd better to invite a langue professional to train Victoria. I agree with what she said. Since from that day, I let my daughter watch more cartoon at home and I try to speak with her using english more often. Recently, I found she got a big progress. I am happy to see she  sat on the bench and played her toy guitar and sang the nursery song. I got my confidence back from this scene. I am sure she ok now and she can catch up the other kids soon.
